Closed sandwiches: cooking recipes

Many of us are used to starting our morning with sandwiches. They are made of rolls, baguette, bran and rye bread. To date, cooking knows a lot of different recipes for such snacks. Among them can be identified canapés, open and closed sandwiches. The latter are better known as sandwiches, and it is about them that will be discussed in today's article.

General principles

As a basis for the preparation of closed sandwiches, special buns or shaped bread, from which the crust is cut, are often used. Before putting a stuffing on it, it is spread with grated horseradish, mayonnaise, mustard, butter or a special paste. From above place cheeses, vegetables, fish, meat or sausage. All this is covered with a second slice of bread.

In addition to the usual sandwiches, there are so-called closed hot sandwiches. They are cooked on the same principle, but at the very end they grease with a beaten egg, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in a frying pan smeared with butter. To keep the freshness and softness of this snack, it is placed in a soup bowl and covered with a lid.

In addition, there are two and three-layer sandwiches. They are single-component and combined. For the preparation of the latter, several combined products are used. It can be butter, eggs and ham or herring.

Variant with turkey

According to this recipe, it is possible to cook closed sandwiches in Turkish rather quickly. They are so delicious that they can be served not only for a family breakfast, but also for a festive table. To make this snack, you need to stock up in advance with all the required components. In that case, you should have in your refrigerator:

  • A pound of turkey.
  • 250 grams of olives.
  • 1.5 tablespoons of tomato paste.
  • Three laurel leaves.
  • 240 grams of brioche.
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground pepper.
  • 1/3 cup of raisins.
  • A teaspoon of chili pepper.
  • 8 cloves of garlic.
  • A tablespoon of cumin.
  • Head of onions.

To make your closed sandwiches, the preparation of which does not take too long, were not fresh and tasteless, you need to supplement the above list with table salt.

Process description

You should start with vegetables first. Onions and garlic are peeled off, chopped, sent to a frying pan, greased with preheated olive oil, and fried until a light golden hue appears. After that, pepper, cumin and bay leaves are added to them and continue to cook for two minutes.

The turkey fillet is washed in cool water, lightly dried with paper napkins, cut into small cubes and sent to a frying pan with onion and spices. After that, they spread it with a Turkish mixture and cover with the other halves of rolls. Serve ready-made closed sandwiches in a hot form.

Variant with sausage

These simple but very tasty sandwiches will be a great breakfast for the whole family. They are quite nutritious and nutritious. To each member of your family in the morning got a closed sandwich, the photo of which will be presented later, you need to take care in advance that the kitchen has all the required ingredients. This time you will need:

  • 100 grams of tomatoes.
  • Packing bread for toast.
  • 200 grams of boiled sausage.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise.
  • 100 grams of any hard cheese.

As additional ingredients, table salt and ground pepper will be used.

Technology of preparation

At the initial stage, you should start preparing products. The hard cheese is rubbed on the grater. The washed tomatoes are cut into cubes. So do with boiled sausage. All this is combined in one suitable container, greased with mayonnaise, salt, pepper and gently mix.

In the preheated sandwich, two pieces of bread are spread. On top put the prepared stuffing. The last layer is another piece of bread. After that, you can close and turn on the device. Prepare future closed sandwiches for five minutes. After that, they spread on a plate and serve to the table. This recipe is good because it allows you to replace products. So, in the absence of mayonnaise, you can use a chicken egg whipped. A sausage is easily replaced with boiled chicken.

Option with mozzarella and bell peppers

As part of this simple, but very tasty sandwich, there are no meat ingredients. It is good that it does not require expensive deficit products for its preparation. To make such closed sandwiches (recipes can be seen in today's publication), your kitchen should be present:

  • 450 grams of mozzarella.
  • French baguette.
  • A pair of glasses of chopped basil.
  • Three sweet Bulgarian peppers.
  • 1/3 cup olive oil.

Among other things, you should take care in advance that at the right time you have at hand was cooking salt. The amount of this ingredient will depend on the personal preferences of the cook and his relatives.

Sequencing

First of all you need to turn on the oven. While she is warming up, you can start preparing peppers. They are washed, dried with paper towels and cut in two. The resulting halves are laid on the oven grill so that the slices are at the bottom, and bake for a quarter of an hour. When the peel begins to char, the peppers are turned over and left for another five minutes. Then they are placed in a paper bag and briefly removed to the side.

Approximately a quarter of an hour from the peppers neatly peeled. Several pieces are left on a separate plate to further decorate the sandwiches, and the rest of the pulp is sent to the blender. There, too, place basil, olive oil and salt. All this is ground to a puree state.

French baguette is cut along. After that, carefully remove a little crumb from it. On the top half lay a cut mozzarella. On the bottom is placed mashed potatoes from pepper and basil. Then the halves are stacked on top of each other. Ready-made closed sandwiches with mozzarella are served to the table. To give them a more beautiful appearance, between the halves of the baguette lay the deferred pieces of pulp of sweet Bulgarian pepper.
