Civil Marriage: Pros and Cons

To date, in our country, a very common type of coexistence of a man and a woman has become a civil marriage, that is, a kind of cohabitation, farming, continuation of the family, etc., which does not presuppose the legal registration of the relationship of a couple of people. The reasons for which civil marriage has become popular can be said for a long time - this is also the loss of a traditional marriage, which is fixed by the state as one of the main legal moments of human existence, the former importance in the minds of citizens, and the high cost of the procedure itself and very often the reluctance of people To bind oneself with any obligations. Indeed, the reasons why people choose a civil marriage are many, but we will try to figure out which civil and political advantages are given to each participant of such union. Civil marriage has many adherents, but no less than ardent opponents, so it is extremely important to understand what advantages and disadvantages each member of such a peculiar family does not make mistakes.

The advantages of civil marriage are often attributed to the opportunity to get to know each other better, so to speak, "rubbing" people entering into it. It should be noted that such an opportunity really helps many to understand themselves and to understand how comfortable coexistence with the chosen partner will be, but in this case there can be a situation when the slightest problems that necessarily arise will not be solved correctly from the point of view of traditional family relationships, but Will end with the only result - parting.

The second advantage - saving money. No matter how trite it sounds, but today money plays a huge role in every aspect of life and the creation of a family is no exception. Indeed, the traditional procedure of marriage requires a lot of spending, the amount of which is often burdensome for married people, especially young ones. In addition to not having to spend money on a wedding, people living in a civil marriage are often considered to have the advantage of being able to "cheat" the state in the material aspect. For example, many women receive benefits intended for single mothers, although they have a fully workable and beloved, albeit "unformed" husband.

Having tried, you can, of course, find other positive aspects of the lack of a "stamp in your passport," but let us dwell on a brief description of what disadvantages of civil marriage often become an obstacle for making a decision to enter into such relations:

- Legal unprotected relations and material aspects of joint existence;

- Absence of full sense of responsibility among partners for each other, and also for joint children;

- Ethical and moral aspects, often manifested in the absence of official confirmation of the marriage.

- Lack of a full understanding of what a family of children born of parents who do not consider it necessary to bind themselves by marriage.

Of course, in spite of the above, each person decides how to build his life. The only thing I want to say is that the factor is that any decision should be taken by the couple together, in a balanced manner, and realized. Any relationship should be psychologically comfortable, and only love and mutual understanding can help, and the presence of the notorious "stamp" in the passport plays not so much a role. Only people who are able to genuinely appreciate and love their loved ones are capable of constructing a strong family, no matter what word it is called.
