Church "Salvation" (Baranovichi) - care and help

What is salvation? This is help. Exemption from danger. To save is to protect or release. This word carries the idea of protection, peace or victory. Who can protect and save? Only God. We are saved by faith, but we must hear the gospel. And this mission of evangelism is performed by the Church.

The Church of "Salvation"

Baranovichi is a city in the Brest region. At the beginning of the 20th century, awakening swept through the whole of Western Belarus. In the city of Baranovichi the Gospel was preached from the beginning of the 1920s. Onufriy Mazalo, riding a bicycle 80 km from the village of Bolotsy, where he lived, spent his time in Baranavichy evangelism.

With the outbreak of the Great Patriotic War, the movement froze, but the churches continued to live and act. In the territory of Belarus the city of Baranovichi becomes the center of the XBE movement. One of its leaders was IK Panko. In 1945, the churches of the ХВЕ united in one union with Christian Baptists.

In November 1989, it was decided to withdraw from the All-Central Bank of Belarus and create the Union of the ХВЕ Belarus. The deputy was elected Kurkaev N. Ya. The beginning of his ministry was the church "Salvation" (Baranovichi), where from 1984 to 1989 he carried a pastoral ministry. Currently, the senior pastor of the church is Sergei Poznyakovich.

Sunday services

Every Sunday, hundreds of people come to church. They pray for their needs, read and study the Bible, thank the Lord for their love and care, communicate and spend their holidays. People of all ages come to church and call it their home. The church "Salvation" (Baranovichi) has more than 1300 members. The services are held on Sundays at 10.00 and at 16.00.

Youth life

A lot of time in the church is given to the younger generation. Youth ministry is more than mere congregations. These are trips, travel, a number of social directions, where young men and girls take an active part. The "Salvation" Church (Baranovichi) organizes conferences and meetings for young people, as well as sports competitions, bike rides, youth camps.

From different parts of the world young people gather to rest, they read the Bible together and pray. Arrange musical evenings and sports games. Every week, the Bible is analyzed in the church. The ministers explain the verses from the Word of God, analyze and help understand the meaning of the written. Answer all the questions of interest and help to understand the basic truths of the Christian dogma.

Conduct in the church and women's ministries, where present can share their problems and ask the wiser sisters for advice. The topic of relations in the family, the purpose of women, is raised in women's ministries. These are meetings where only the representatives of the fair sex gather - share secrets, encourage and support each other. Services are held:

The organization "Return" was established and established by the Council of Bishops of the OC-XVE. Her mission is to fulfill the commandments of Jesus Christ and help the lost sons and daughters to return to Heavenly Father, who is waiting, loving, ready to forgive and accept. The curator of the department is Poznyakovich Sergey Dmitrievich. The "Salvation" church (Baranovichi town) has two mission departments:

• Department of Rehabilitation and Adaptation - male rehabilitation.
• Branch "Center for Resocialisation and Adaptation": for the homeless people a night residence house is open; Helps people with alcohol dependence; There is an adaptation of persons released from places of deprivation of liberty.
