Chucky doll: invincible redhead

There are many obsessive fears: all known claustrophobia and its opposite are agoraphobia (fear of open space), aerophobia (fear of flying on an airplane), and others. Less common is pedophobia.

Resettlement of the soul

Perhaps, some of it appeared after acquaintance with one famous character? Chucky's doll could well inspire pedophobia, because this term means exactly the fear of dolls. He came up with a character a quarter of a century ago Don Mancini, he also initiated the franchise "Children's Game". Then the film with an unusual villain-killer in the face of a toy red-headed boy blocked his budget four times and immediately found a lot of fans.

It all began in this story with the fact that the daring maniac managed to move his spirit to the first toy that came to him (escaping from the persecution of the police, Charles was in the toy store) - it turned out to be a doll Chaki (then it was simply called "Good guy" ).

When he got to Andy's boy, this little monster began to commit villainous murders, and incidentally came up with a plan for how to regain his human appearance. In the first frames, the viewer gets acquainted with the psychopath Charles Li Ray (curiously, this name is made up of three others belonging to famous killers, the most famous of which are Charlie Manson and Lee Harvey Oswald). He is played by Brad Dourif, who later became Chucky's "voice" for all the films of the cycle. Debuting in the role of Billy (for which he claimed Oscar) in Forman's film "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", this artist was later remembered by the public as the sinister Grima of The Lord of the Rings.

Unconvincing continuation

The next two sequels - the sequel and the trikvel of the "Children's Game" - did not arouse the audience's delight. Collected by parts of unsuspecting people, the Chaki doll resurrects again and again, leaving a bloody trail and continuing to find human essence in the body of grown Andy. However, the stories were far-fetched, and the actions of the characters were inconclusive. The horrors of the doll Chuckie no longer infused. A few exaggerated black comedy has fully blossomed in the fourth part of the franchise - "The Bride of Chucky." In this film, the Chucky doll gets to the former bride of Charles Tiffany, who was brilliantly performed by Jennifer Tilly. The redhead succeeds in killing a girl and imprisoning her soul in another doll. Now two sinister toys are scampering for victims.

Wife and kids

The most critical critique was the painting "Chucky's Progeny". The authors clearly overstretched the stick with the vulgarity and trashiness of what had once begun as a completely worthy horror film. Chucky's son and Tiffany Glen, who doubts that he belongs to the male sex (!) And sometimes calls himself Glenda, again releases monsters to freedom, having found mom and dad on the set where they make a film. Chucky doll with his wife, of course, immediately taken for the old. They take Jennifer Tilly as hostage (being Tiffany's "voice").

Don Mancini, who was the author of the script for the cycle about Chucky, in 2013 decided to become the director of his next child. He took the next part - "The Curse of Chucky." This time the doll appears in an incomprehensible way with two sisters (or rather, a little daughter of one of them). And, of course, Chucky is loyal to his evil nature. The picture is interesting because the main character is the daughter of Bred Durif - Fiona, well, Daddy still voices a satanic toy.
