Chicken hearts, a recipe for my youth

Very hearty and delicious are fried chicken hearts, the recipe for their preparation is very simple. To do this, you must unfreeze the chicken hearts, rinse in water and put on a hot frying pan with vegetable oil. Cover the lid open, reduce the fire so that the oil does not splatter. Fry the hearts from all sides for 20 minutes before the ruddy color. Due to the fact that a lot of meat juice will be allocated, there will not be a strong roasting. At the end, add finely chopped onion, salt, spices and grated carrot and continue cooking for another 10 minutes. I still really like the combination of chicken and seasoning hops-suneli, since the student years.

Now we often buy broiler chicken hearts, we use the extinguishing recipe, as when extinguishing any meat. For 1 kg of hearts 1 bulb, 1 carrot, 1 glass of water, salt, spices to taste and vegetable oil for frying are consumed. First, the hearts are put out in a frying pan under the lid for 20 minutes, then salt, add the spices, chopped onions and stew for another 5 minutes. During the cooking process, water is added constantly, which quickly boils away. In the last turn put grated carrots and bring the dish to readiness.

Mom also liked to cook chicken hearts, the recipe used, in which sour cream and butter combined with a lot of water. First, she in a frying pan stewed carrots and onions, then added small chicken hearts cut in half and continued to stew for 20 minutes. For 1 kg of hearts, 2-3 bulbs, 3 carrots, 1 Bulgarian pepper and a clove of garlic, which my mother added at the very end of cooking, was used. At the same time, she constantly poured boiling water or chicken broth while putting out.

Then I added butter (2 tbsp) and homemade sour cream (5 tbsp), spread it in a frying pan and mixed it with hearts and vegetables. The dish was rich, tasty and very nutritious. At the garnish, my mother cooked mashed potatoes, pea porridge or buckwheat.

My children love it when I cook chicken hearts, the recipe of which has been preserved in my memory since my youth. In the hostel during the session, we collected champignons and baked them in the oven and chicken giblets. We cooked quickly, because there was no free time, but it turned out just delicious! First, fry five minutes in a frying pan in vegetable oil. During this time, finely chopped mushrooms, greens and rubbed cheese. After that, in a deep baking tray, layers of hearts and champignons with green onions were laid. Topped with sour cream, sprinkled with cheese and dill and put in the oven for half an hour at a temperature of 200 degrees.

Today I use mayonnaise instead of sour cream and finely chop the Bulgarian pepper, potatoes and zucchini, which I cut into rings and lay around the edges around the hearts. It turns out the duty dish is 2 in 1, at the same time is prepared garnish and meat.

In recent years, all the dishes prepared in a pot in the oven have become our favorite family dish. I will share with you how I prepare chicken hearts, the recipe of which can be modified, adding different ingredients to the base and getting completely different to taste food.

On six pots I use a half-kilo of hearts, half-packs of frozen mushrooms, an onion, 150 grams of buckwheat, 100 grams. Grated hard cheese. First I boil the buckwheat for about five minutes, fry the hearts and mushrooms separately in a frying pan. Then I spread the chicken hearts into the pots, I put the buckwheat and mushrooms on top, I pour the sour cream into which I add the seasoning of hops-suneli and sprinkle cheese on top.

In each pot I add a little water to the dish is not burned, put in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180-190 degrees. After turning off the oven, the pots are left for another half an hour, during which time the taste improves significantly. Try it and see for yourself!

In our family very much like various chicken recipes. We cook a whole chicken carcass in the oven, make chicken rolls, chicken with vegetables, fry the cutlets and cook pies.

Sometimes we prepare chicken medallions, the recipe of which was found on the Internet. To do this, two breasts (500-600g) are divided into 8 parts, pickled in mayonnaise (200g) with starch (2 tablespoons) and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours. After that, fry in all directions until golden brown on a small fire.
