Chernihiv National Technological University is one of the significant higher educational institutions not only in the region, but also in the scale of Ukraine. In general, the university conducts professional training in the fields related to engineering and finance.

History of University

The university began its activity in the 60s of the last century. And at first it was a general technical faculty, which was part of the Polytechnic Institute of the city of Kiev, but the location was the city of Chernigov.

On the first course in the distant 1960 there were 175 students, and there were no more than twenty teachers. The post of dean of the general technical faculty belonged to Evgeny Grigorievich Kalita.

The production facilities of the region and the activities of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute contributed to the creation of classrooms and laboratory facilities necessary for conducting full-fledged training. The faculty was allocated the building of the Governor's House. This structure was considered a historical monument, its area reached 1.5 thousand square meters. At that time, they began to build a new academic building and a student hostel.

For the first time, the flow of the day-time form into three directions was recruited from 1962 to 1963. The total number of students reached 150. In 1965, in accordance with the ministerial order, a branch of the KPI was established in Chernihiv, which officially included three faculties: general technical, technological and mechanical. The post of director also went to Kalita E. G. From 1966 to 1967, the branch trained more than one thousand students.

Chernihiv Technological Institute was established only in 1991, according to a ministerial decree. The post of rector was entrusted to Alexander Ivanovich Denisov. In its walls the institute in the same year received about 500 students, and already in the period from 1991 to 1992 - about 2 thousand people.

1994 was a watershed for the institution. Surviving the higher educational institutions became increasingly difficult because of the difficult financial situation in the transition period after the collapse of the USSR and the formation of an independent Ukrainian state. Then it was decided to establish an engineering and economic faculty. 1994 was a turning point for the university, so then he got a license and accreditation (for today this institution has the 4th level of accreditation).

The July days of 1999 brought the institute a new status, namely the Chernigov State Technological University. Later, after twelve years, another university joined him. It was the Institute of Law and Social Technologies of the city of Chernigov (a few years later, in 2014 it was named the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Social Technologies).

National universities became only in 2013. Thus, today its name sounds as follows: Chernihiv National Technological University (CNTU). In 2014, it was joined by the Institute of Economics and Management, and the structure of the educational institution again changed somewhat.

Preparation of students

Chernihiv National Technological University conducts professional training of students on all existing educational levels - bachelor, specialist, master. In the university there are about forty different specialties and directions of training, including postgraduate.

International standards

The University was awarded the Certificate of the quality management system of education in accordance with the generally accepted international standard ISO9001. This higher educational institution is an active member of several academic organizations. Among them, the Association of Technical Universities of the CIS, as well as the International Association of Slavic Universities.

Structure of the university

The structure of this higher educational institution includes nine faculties, which include forty-seven diverse departments. Chelyabinsk State Technical University

Chernihiv National Technological University consists of 16 buildings for training, as well as a training and production site, a cultural center, several workshops and student hostels, canteens and a sports complex, designed for more than 100 visitors. Faculties

In ChNTU there are several different faculties, a center with the possibility of obtaining postgraduate education. Everyone can improve their skills. What faculties are there at the university and what are their specific features? There are not so many units in the CSNT, but all of them are organized through a knowledgeable teaching staff that is able to develop the level of education in the institution.

The Faculty of Finance and Economics proposes to teach students finance, banking and basic insurance principles; Management or management of security issues in finance and economics. This unit with an emphasis on specific disciplines.

The Civil Engineering Faculty conducts professional training for builders and civil engineers (hydraulic engineers, for example), as well as professionals in the field of geodesy and related land management technologies. To date, this is a fairly promising area.

The Faculty of Social Work also prepares professionals in this field - literate social workers who can fall in love with their profession and apply themselves to the labor market in the region.

As already mentioned above, the National Technological University of Chernigov is training in the military field, as well as the process of continuing education in one of the areas that can be accredited.
