Hemangioma: treatment and signs of disease

Hemangioma is a benign tumor that is distinguished by the absence of clear boundaries. As practice shows, in most cases the disease affects the child's body, but it can be observed in adults. If we talk about the scale of distribution, there is no clear certainty. Neoplasm can arise as a small speck and reach a rather large size. Its localization is also different. There are cases of manifestation of hemangioma both on the surface of the skin and on internal organs.

The main symptomatic manifestation of the disease is the change in the shade of a particular area of the skin to a gently pink, maybe red and even blue. Often, a disease such as hemangioma, whose treatment is necessary, is completely safe, since the tumor is positive and does not have a negative effect on the body. But in some situations, it turns into a malignant form. This is due to the characteristics of the body, for example, a new growth of too impressive size is perceived as an alien object, which must be combated. Thus, the protection function works, and the body starts to throw out a large number of platelets into the blood. As a consequence, the blood loses the ability to quickly curdle.

With the constant growth of the tumor with localization on internal organs, there may be an increase in pressure on them or surrounding vessels. This situation leads to bleeding, which requires immediate surgical intervention. Removal of hemangioma does not always lead to the desired results, because only 30% of patients with bleeding manage to save life. The formation of skin is dangerous because it is a transport of infections into the blood.

The reasons for the appearance of such a disease remain a mystery to this day, because experts have not yet come to a common opinion and have not provided scientifically proven facts. It is known only that there is such a disease - hemangioma, its treatment is carried out, as a rule, by applying radical methods, in order to protect the patient from possible complications.

Hemangioma: treatment.

If a neoplasm occurs, you should immediately contact a specialist who will tell you how you can cope with the disease. It is worth remembering that self-medication can only do harm. Many people try to get rid of swelling with the help of traditional medicine. But such measures can only serve as a good assistant and complement to the main way to eliminate the problem, appointed by the doctor.

If the tumor has arisen on the face or other open area of the body, then the removal of the hemangioma by the laser is applied . The site of damage is treated with special rays, which heat the vessels to such an extent that they are glued together in a natural way. After a while, there will be no trace of the problem. This procedure is effective, as it does not leave scar tissue, is performed without anesthesia, but it is absolutely painless for the patient. To the lack of radiotherapy can be attributed the need for repeated repetition of the procedure to obtain the desired result.

With a small hemangioma with localization on the skin, the usual moxibustion is successfully used. If there is a tendency of growth of the neoplasm, then there is a need for medical treatment. Then the patient is prescribed prednisolone within a month. And to repair damaged tissue, either laser therapy, or liquid nitrogen freezing , or moxibustion, depending on the nature of the tumor, is used.

To create a cosmetic effect in a disease such as hemangioma, the treatment may include the procedure of plastic surgery, which involves the complete removal of scar tissue.
