Center of Ukraine. Industrial regions of Ukraine

To visit the center of Europe, you do not need to fly to Italy, Germany or Poland for this. It is enough to go to the picturesque state with the name Ukraine. The country has a memorable sign about the European center - the stele in the Transcarpathian village of Delovoy. In addition, here you can admire the beauty of the Carpathian Mountains and many other attractions of the area.

Dobrovelichkovka or the Shelf?

A typical person who has never studied geography thoroughly, you can easily get lost in the coordinates of any territories. We will analyze this topic in order. From 1989 to 2005, according to official data, it was believed that the center of Ukraine was located near the village of Dobrovelichkovka in the Kirovograd region.

In 2005, the decree was issued, which resulted in the transfer of the point to the middle of the field near the town of Shpola and the village of Marjanovka in the Cherkassy region. Thus, at present the exact geographical center of Ukraine has coordinates 49 ° 01'39 "north latitude and 31 ° 28'58" eastern longitude.

The point is located at a distance of three kilometers from the road Cherkassy - Uman, next to the railway. The contours of the territory of the state with marks of Shpola, Marjanovka and Kiev and the phrase "Shpolyanschina - geographical center of Ukraine" are on the memorable stele.

Europe

Ukraine is a country located in the eastern part of Europe. In 1887, on the right bank of the river Tisza, near the Transcarpathian town of Rakhov, in the village of Delovoy, on the route Mukachevo-Rogatin, a geodesic sign and a stele were placed. This memo indicates the European center of Ukraine. On the plate Academician A. Tarasov wrote a phrase in Latin, entitled: "A constant, accurate, eternal place."

The definition was carried out by specialists from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which in the XIX century occupied a huge territory on this continent. The geodetic sign has great historical value for the neighboring countries. The European center of Ukraine has such coordinates: 47 ° 56'3 "north latitude and 24 ° 11'30" east longitude.

Geometric point of the continent is located in Poland. Here, lines intersecting the Cape of Matapan in Greece, Nordkin in Norway, Roca in Portugal and the central Ural, located in Russia.

Material production

Currently, three economic regions are distinguished in the country: South-Western, Southern and Donetsk-Pridneprovsky. The industrial center of Ukraine is, as a rule, a settlement containing several enterprises that are not connected with each other by the produced material. In such places, tools are being created, fuel, raw materials and other types of products are extracted for various branches of the economy. There are also institutions where the material is processed. In the branch structure of the state, heavy industry is in the first place .

The following regions of Ukraine are considered to be industrial: mainly in the Carpathian, Donetsk and Dnieper parts of the country, which specialize in electric power, coal, machine building, metallurgical and chemical products.

Other areas of the state, such as Poltava, Vinnytsia, Nikolaev, Kherson, etc., are interconnected elements of territorial organizations and in general represent the industrial complex of the country.
