Cartoon animals as heroes of their time

Since the advent of the first animated films, the main characters in them have become cartoon animals. The childhood of generations and generations of Soviet children passed in anticipation of the next cartoon collectors, who went to theaters in the morning and afternoon, and the transfer of "Good night, kids!" Only then was it considered "watchable", if after a short conversation with the dolls the animator was shown a cartoon.

Animated or animated films on technology are divided into drawn and puppet films, later plasticine was added to this technique. But the main aesthetic credo of animation is convention. And not always cartoons were shot in the calculation for children, nevertheless, they are traditionally perceived as a children's genre of cinema, and the main characters in them are cartoon animals. Pictures with them were printed on the covers of notebooks, bookmarks, calendars, postcards. Many even collected collections with those or other cartoon characters.

And, probably, even now, such collectors will have photos of funny animals that have become the main characters of animated films. If you build a hit-parade of cartoon animals, probably, each viewer will have their own priorities. Undoubtedly, one of the most popular cartoon characters in the entire post-Soviet space was the Wolf from "Well, wait!" The children were eagerly awaiting the release of new series, retelling them and discussing what was not surprising. But the hooligan wolf was much more popular than the approximate hare. The director V. Kotenochkin almost failed to reconcile these characters - the viewer did not take such a turn of the plot! Their huge contribution was made by actors who voiced the main characters. Cartoon animals talked with the voices of Clara Rumyanova and Anatoly Papanov.

Another "hit" of Soviet animation was a series about Prostokvashino. And people in this cartoon quite on an equal footing coexist with animals, which also became an inseparable part of the culture in the post-Soviet space. Replicas of the cat Matroskina (Oleg Tabakov) went to the people, becoming winged expressions, and they are pronounced with the intonation of the cartoon character. Dog Ball, speaking in the voice of Lev Durov, is also a character not only recognizable, but super popular.

Continuing the theme of the cats in the animation, we can not help recalling the cat Leopold with his "Let's Live Together." But still the most popular cat in the world of animation is Disney Tom from Tom and Jerry. And, of course, it was thanks to Walt Disney that cartoon animals became cult figures of mass culture. In addition to the mentioned Tom and Jerry, of course, we need to start with another mouse - Mickey Mouse, in fact, with which everything began.

This then the Disney studio will turn into a huge empire, a factory for the production of not only animated, but also feature films, entertainment towns around the world. And before that there were cartoon animals: Dambo Elephant, Bambi deer, Chip and Dale chipmunks - the list goes on.

Their charming and popular little animals were brought to the world by Hungarian animators: the Pannonia studio was created by Vuk's fox. And in Czechoslovakia they shot a series about a funny mole.

What will modern artists offer to contemporary children? Time will tell.
