Cakes on the water: fast, tasty, cheap

Has the house finished bread? And your family is used to eating fresh bread for breakfast? But do not run now to the store? There is the simplest option - to prepare tasty cakes on the water from the products that certainly are in your house. In addition, your cakes will be much more useful and tastier than regular bread from the store. And believe me, the household will appreciate your creation.

In order to quickly prepare the dough for our tortillas, the main components are necessary:

Flour, water, vegetable oil, a little salt and sugar, soda (baking powder) - if desired.

The easiest recipe

You need to mix flour (500 grams), water (1 tablespoon), salt - ½ teaspoon and baking powder (20 g) or soda - ½ teaspoon (for a lavish dough). Ready dough should be covered with a napkin for 10 minutes.

Then dough cut into several pieces, each of them must roll out on small cakes. In a frying pan, fry them on both sides.

Ready cakes on water should be stored in a package, so that they remain fresh for a long time. Before consuming cakes you can pour garlic dressing (grated garlic, mixed with butter, pre-melted). They can be safely served with borscht.

Delicious tortillas with cheese

In a small saucepan bring to a boil 300 ml of water, pour the boiling water in a deep plate with flour (300 g). Knead the dough and put it on for 15 minutes. As you can see, the recipe for cakes on the water is fairly simple and accessible to every hostess.

Finished dough cut into small pieces and then roll each into a thin layer with a diameter of 15 centimeters. In the center of each layer put a slice of grated cheese (you can any solid varieties). Collapse each layer and gently roll it out. And now ready-made tortillas can be fried in a pan, greased with any vegetable oil.

Pay attention, instead of the filling you can put mashed potatoes with fried onions, salted curd, minced meat, etc.

Green tortillas

To make cakes on the water you will need flour (225 g) and warm water (half cup). For the filling - fresh green onions (number - to your taste).

From flour and water, prepare a soft dough. Leave it for a few minutes.

Roll out a layer of 40-45 cm in diameter. Lubricate it with any oil and sprinkle the chopped green onions all over the surface.

And now the resulting "sausage" should be divided into 5 parts and then each of them rolled into a small cake.

All fried cakes in a frying pan, oiled. And our flat cakes are ready!

Sweet cakes with honey

Want to please your kids with sweet cakes? Try it - and you'll see, they'll go "with a bang"! Of course, like the previous recipes, these cakes on the water are goggled according to the same technology. So, we need two st. Flour, salt (enough pinch), water is slightly warm (four tablespoons), honey (two tablespoons), 1 egg, sugar to taste. And, of course, any oil for frying.

Mix honey and salt in a deep plate, add water, egg. Mix and add flour to the resulting mixture.

Finished dough cut into pieces, and then each rolled into a layer. The resulting cakes fry in a pan with butter.

Sprinkle with sugar, serving to the table.

Cakes on mineral water

Cakes on mineral water are prepared in the same way as usual. The difference is that instead of the usual water in the dough, you can add mineral carbonated. The dough turns out lush, airy. We advise you to prepare tortillas with a filling. The stuffing can be minced, mashed potatoes, mushrooms with vegetables, etc.

For the test, you need to take: mineral water (1 tbsp.), Salt (teaspoonful), sugar (2 spoons), ras. Oil (2 tablespoons) and flour (2 tablespoons). From these components, prepare the dough.

Divide it into small pieces and then roll each into a small flat cake, grease it with any oil and put any stuffing in the center. Rinse the edges and again gently rolled into a small cake.

Finished cakes fry in a hot frying pan.
