Burning with urination

If you suddenly have pain, stinging or burning with urination - the first thing that a gynecologist suspects is the presence of inflammation. More accurately, the survey will show, but, as a rule, in such cases, inflammation of the urethra or urethra is diagnosed. If the urethra has become inflamed, then the disease is called urethritis. It is widespread both among women and men.

The main symptom in the acute form of urethritis is a sensation of sharp painful pain, and in chronic form it is rather a slight burning sensation when urinating. An urgent visit to the doctor is mandatory, otherwise the infection is easily able to spread to neighboring internal organs. If the inflammation of the urethra is not treated, it is possible that over time it will cause prostatitis in men or complicated inflammation of the genital organs in women. An appointment with a doctor will make it possible to diagnose and prescribe the right treatment.

It is the pain syndrome at the time of emptying the bladder that the person has a problem - the genitourinary system is infected.

The classical clinic assumes the presence of three symptoms:

• itching of the genitals or burning when urinating;

• urge to urinate;

• Severe pain at the time of bladder emptying.

Pain at the time of urination in women and men can be a symptom of various pathologies in the urethra. In addition to urethritis, it can be cystitis, inflammation of the prostate in acute or chronic form, the presence of a tumor in the genitourinary tract or stones in the prostate gland, other sexually transmitted diseases. Pain and burning during urination are also possible with diseases such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, prostatitis.

Pain, burning and false urge to urinate are characteristic of the inflammatory process of the bladder, scientifically - cystitis. Cystitis is one of the first places among inflammations associated with the organs of the genitourinary system. The majority of patients suffering from cystitis are women, but this disease spares men and bothers very rarely. The statistics show that more than 50% of women experienced burning sensation at the time of urination accompanying the disease.

Most often, cystitis in women is associated with hypothermia, which reduces the resistance of the organism, due to which microbes and bacteria multiply intensively and, after getting into the bladder, provoke inflammation. However, practice shows that in the inflammation of the bladder is often more likely to be responsible for frequent changes in sexual partners, violent sexual life, hormonal disorders or non-compliance with hygiene standards during the menstrual cycle. The picture of the acute phase clinic is characterized by the following symptoms: pain and burning when urinating in women, sometimes pain is localized in the lower abdomen, and tests indicate that there is an admixture of pus in the urine. If you do not take measures and do not treat the disease, the pain will grow stronger every day and become almost permanent. Sometimes in the urine there is an admixture of blood.

In children, cystitis can suddenly go to the kidneys or lead to urinary incontinence, so parents must take it very seriously to treat it.

To prevent diseases of the genitourinary sphere, you must strictly follow the rules of hygiene and seek to exclude and reduce the factors that cause the occurrence of cystitis. People prone to cystitis should not abuse alcohol, spicy, pickled and spicy dishes. And if you still could not resist eating something peppered, sauerkraut or fried, then necessarily drink plenty of water. If you have problems with a stool, try to consume as much fruit, vegetables and coarse fibrous food as possible . After coition, you have to go and urinate. In winter, always dress warmly, so as not to freeze in anticipation of the trolleybus. Those who have a sedentary job should get up and walk every half or two hours.

It should be remembered: treating cystitis alone - it means driving yourself into a corner. Love yourself and watch your health closely.
