Boris Kherson - Ukrainian poet, translator, publicist. He was born in Chernivtsi in 1950, on November 28. The author writes mainly in Russian, and is also a clinical psychiatrist and psychologist.

The poet Boris Kherson was born into a family of doctors. The grandfather of our hero, Robert Aronovich - one of the founders of children's psychoneurology in the territory of Odessa. In the post-revolutionary years, this man, using the pseudonym of Ro, published two books with satirical poems "Gudok" and "All Odessa in epigrams." The father of our hero, Grigory Robertovich, in turn released a collection of poems "Students." His mother's family lived in Bessarabia before the war. Later she moved to Chernivtsi. The father of our hero studied there when he returned from the front and became a student of a local medical institute.

Biography

Kherson Boris spent his childhood in Starobelsk. His parents were there. He became a student of Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute. Later he changed the university - he transferred to the medical institute of Odessa. Received the post of psychoneurologist in the Ovidiopol district. He was a psychiatrist and psychologist of the regional psychiatric hospital in Odessa. During perestroika, Kherson Boris worked in one of the city newspapers. Collaborated with various emigrant media. Since 1996 he has been working at the Department of Psychology at the Odessa National University. From 1999 to 2015, the activities of our hero was also purely scientific. During this period he was the head of the department of clinical psychology. Author of 6 monographs. They are dedicated to psychiatry and psychology. Separately it is necessary to note the work "Psychodiagnostics of thinking", written in 2003. Our hero is a candidate of medical sciences. Head of the Union of Psychotherapists of Ukraine. In the 1990s he actively acted as a publicist and journalist in the city press.

Creation

Above, we talked about how Boris Khersonsky began his work. His poems began to appear in the sixties. In 1970-1980 our hero became one of the brightest figures representing unofficial poetry in Odessa. He was a member of the social movement samizdat. At the same time he spoke not only as an author, but also as a distributor of other illegal literature. His verses disperse in the usual way for that time - in typewritten copies. In the early nineties books began to be published, unofficially, but without prohibitions. The appearance of works in the emigre Russian-language press occurred in the second half of the eighties. The first book, which was published legally, was published in 1993 and is called "The Eighth Share". Then there appeared "Outside the Fence", "Family Archive", Post Printum, "There and Then", "Scroll", "Draw a Little Man", "Verbs of the Past". Also our hero published transcriptions of biblical texts, having collected them the "Book of Praises" and a collection called "Poetry on the Border of Two Covenants." Psalms and odes of Solomon. " The author was published in the pages of the magazines Homo Legens, "October", "New World", "Khreshchatyk", "Banner", "Arion".

We can assume that the most significant work of our hero is the "Family Archive". In this book, from the biographical poems-essays, the result is a canvas of life, as well as the disappearance of Jews in southern Ukraine in the twentieth century. The samizdat book appeared in 1995 in Odessa. By 2006, the "Family Archive" - the first collection of our hero, was published in Russia. This work was published by the publishing house Novoe Literaturnoe Obozrenie, including it in the series Poetry of the Russian Diaspora.

"Site for building" - the second full book of our hero. She also appeared in the above-mentioned publishing house in 2008. "Outside the fence" is a collection of essays and poems that appeared in 2008. It was published by the Nauka Publishers in the series "Russian Gulliver." In 2009, a book entitled "Marble Sheet" was published. It included poems that were written in autumn 2008 in Italy. Soon the book "Spirituals" appeared. In 2010, the publication of the UFO published the work "Until it is dark," the foreword to it was written by Irina Rodnyanskaya. In 2012, the book "For Someone Else" was published. This work was published in the publishing house "Spadshchina-Integral" and consisted of poems.

Civil position

Kherson Boris consistently acts as a supporter of Ukrainian independence. He is opposed to pressure on the country by Russia. The author claims that because of this, he was subjected to hostile attitude, as well as mockery during the Orange Revolution. He also noted that in 2014 and 2015 several times he was threatened with reprisal. According to the poet, he would have left Odessa if the city had been occupied. On the day when our hero made the statement, there was a terrorist attack near his house.

Confession

Boris Kherson - winner of the fourth and fifth Voloshin competition, as well as a seventh and eighth grad student. He was awarded at the festival "Kyiv Laurels". Boris Kherson received a special award "Moscow account." Our hero is a laureate of the scholarship of the I. Brodsky Foundation. Received an award and from the magazine "New World". He became a laureate of a poetic prize, established by the publication of Anthologia. The book "Family Archive" is included in the short list of the Andrei Bely Award. A family

Boris Khersonsky is married to a poetess named Ludmila. Niece of our hero Elena Akhterskaya - American writer, was born in 1985.
