Belgrade Airport: comfortable and cozy air port

Serbia is a beautiful European country, rest in it is not expensive and the road will not be a burden. The capital of Serbia is Belgrade. It is the main tourist object of this small country. You can get to it by train, by your own car, but best of all - by plane. The international airport of Belgrade bears the name of the great scientist Nikola Tesla and is rated one of the most convenient airports in the world.

Airport "Nikola Tesla Belgrade"

The name of the outstanding Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla is not simply present in the name of the airport. The Serbian people are very proud of the scientist, and the airport, being an important strategic object, symbolizes how much the people respect the scientist. However, for simplicity of communication, the building has a simpler name - Belgrade airport.

This huge air port is one of the most modern and convenient in the world. All the efforts of the designers were aimed not at reducing the cost of construction, but at improving the level of comfort for ordinary tourists. The structure of the airport is simple and understandable. There are two levels, one of which is the arrival area, and the other is the departure zone.

Just as the aircraft lands, the tourist leaves the territory of the country under whose flag the aircraft is flying. He takes a step into the landing sleeve and gets to Belgrade airport. The arrival zone begins, in which documents are checked, and luggage is obtained. Immediately after leaving this zone, the tourist can exchange money. There are many ATMs, including Russian banks, but not all. Basically these are ATMs of Raiffeisenbank. There are currency exchange points, however, it does not happen at the most profitable rate. It is most advantageous to go directly to the bank branch.

Transport problem

The transport issue is an eternal problem in any country. It is logical and convenient to organize the work of public transport expensive and difficult, so many neglect it. There are no such problems at Belgrade airport. The transport system is surprisingly convenient and accessible for tourists.

Leaving the arrival zone, the tourist is near the central taxi stand. There you can hire a taxi driver. A trip to the center of Belgrade will cost about 15 euros, which is very affordable for citizens of the countries of the European Union and North America. However, a taxi is not the only option. You can get to Belgrade by bus, the transport stand is located near the exit from the airport building. This bus is a shuttle specially for a trip from the airport. But that's not all. Even cheaper can be reached by regular bus. The road will take a little longer, but it will be much more economical.

Eating at the airport

All airports can always have a snack, but the extra charge for regular products can reach 500 percent! In Belgrade, this is not a problem. You can leave the building and get acquainted with the prices of cafes and restaurants located near the airport. Surprisingly, the prices there are much cheaper.

When is the flight?

Traditionally, information boards about the status of flights help passengers to navigate at all types of stations. They are electronic and physical. The electronic scoreboard of Belgrade airport can be found on the official website and in various Internet services. The physical is located directly in the terminal building. It is large and duplicated in different sections of the airport.

Transit

Transit is a flight through the country in which the transplant is made. All arriving tourists enter a special zone, which is separated from the common terminal. The territory of the terminal is not as big as Domodedovo or Heathrow. Therefore, the transit zone at Belgrade airport is small and precisely requires improvement. Simply put, it has nothing to do, if the wait between flights is more than 5 hours. But from it willingly let out tourists. And so you can go to Belgrade quite safely and spend time there. Expect a flight more than 5 hours in the transit zone is not necessary.
