Beginner: how to make an easel with your own hands

Those who are very fond of drawing laborious and large enough paintings are often chosen for nature with colors and canvas or paper. No doubt, an artist, even a beginner, must have an easel. This device is very convenient for drawing beautiful and orderly works. Easel is simply irreplaceable for the artist, but in specialized workshops this thing is unreasonably expensive. Since its design is simple enough, you can easily make an easel with your own hands. To do this, you do not need to be a highly skilled carpenter, it is enough just to have at hand the necessary tools and materials, and this:

- plywood sheet 100x60cm, thickness 3-4mm;

- four wooden bars 6x2cm thick and 2m in length;

- a few screws, nails, and two loops;

- jig saw for woodwork;

- sandpaper and file;

- a hammer.

Hinges are fixed to the crossbar with screws. On the two front legs you need to install cross bars, to which a sheet of plywood is nailed. It can also be screwed with screws. In order for the structure to withstand mechanical damages well, temperature drops, transfer moisture to it, it must be treated with paint or varnish. This will also give the product a more aesthetic appearance.

After all, it's much easier to draw behind it than at a table, because you can always just walk away and look at your work from a sufficient distance. This will allow you to see some inaccuracies in the drawing that you will never see when drawing at the table.
