Beer "Vyatich": reviews. Brewery "Vyatich", Kirov

The Vyatich brewery has been operating for more than 100 years. Its development began in the early 20th century, after the arrival of the German engineer Karl Schneider in Vyatka. Soon he received the right to sell products of honey and beer everywhere in the Russian Empire.

After seven years, the combine becomes the owner of two beer restaurants and several dozen stores selling a foamy drink. The products are delivered to Moscow, Peter, European cities. After the revolution, the nationalization of the plant takes place in the country. In 1921 the enterprise became a state institution. It continues to work and develop production activities.

Stages of development

A new round in the development of the enterprise producing beer "Vyatich", began in the postwar period. In 1952 two ammonia-type compressors were installed at the plant. They allowed to refuse cooling by usual ice. Stably growing volumes required the development of malt supplies and the renewal of equipment for manufacturing. A few years later the factory was equipped with a box malt house, an additional dryer for two tiers, a pair of lock vats. In addition, the brewhouse was modernized:

  1. Installed boilers with a capacity of up to one and a half tons.
  2. Filtration, crushing units are equipped.
  3. Wooden containers are replaced with steel samples.
  4. A new technological scheme of production was introduced.

Automated lines were launched in the 1970s. Performance has reached about six thousand bottles hourly.

Modern production

Since recently, Vyatich beer is produced at the combine, which includes a malt plant, a pulping shop, a bottling and non-alcoholic line. As additional and auxiliary units there are units for equipment repair, transport and compressor departments, boiler room, marketing and household service. Vyatka Brewery produces several varieties. The most popular brands include the following products:

  • "Zhigulevskoye". Standard low-density beer made from light malt. Has an affordable price, perfectly quenches thirst in the summer.
  • "Alive". Original product made according to the traditional recipe.
  • Schneider LAGER. It is named in honor of the founder of the plant. It is an easy drink with 4% alcohol. It perfectly quenches thirst, allowing you to feel the pronounced taste and light hop bitterness.

Variety features

Fans of traditional beer will appreciate the classic beer. The taste of this drink is pronounced, with the minimum portion of hop added to the composition. Variations are produced with inclusion of rice, which makes them sweeter: "Amber", "Bochkoe". Fans of unfiltered beverage are provided with live beer "Vyatich". It has a special yeast flavor and a traditional intoxicating aroma. Most often the product is sold within the region, since the storage period is several days at a certain temperature (maximum - one month).

Dark beer is produced under the name "Special". It is an intoxicating product with an original caramel-malt flavor. Connoisseurs of high-density varieties will be attracted by "Elite". The drink has a malt taste, the alcohol content is within 5.8%. To fans of a product beer "Vyatich Krepkoe" is more suitable. In addition, the plant produces limited quantities of beverage, timed to New Year's and some other holidays.

Kirov beer "Vyatich" is sold in liquid kegs, half-liter glass bottles, plastic containers of 1.5 or 3 liters. Bright lager without pasteurization at the food exhibition "Prodexpo" received a gold award and the title "Best Product of the Year". Its characteristics:

  1. Color - golden.
  2. The foam effect is a very dense, gradually settling cap.
  3. The aroma is malty, weak.

Used components

To determine the qualitative characteristics of the beverage in question, the composition of the most common varieties should be studied. The following indicators are presented below:

  • Beer "Vyatich provincial". In the composition - light malt and barley hops. Strength of the product is 4.5%, density is up to 12%, caloric content is 46 kcal.
  • Class "Classical". Light beer with a strength of up to 4.9 and a density of up to 12%.

Gourmets will enjoy the product with a density of 14% and a strength of up to 5.5 degrees under the brand "Vyatka special".

Reviews

From consumers about beer "Vyatich" you can hear a lot of good and not very reviews. The advantages of the drink include an affordable price, a variety of varieties, good taste, spectacular design decoration of containers, the availability of "live" beer.

Nevertheless, the beer "Vyatich", which is widely discussed, received many complaints. Some buyers do not like aftertaste and heavy hangover. The disadvantages include an unstable price policy, play on taste qualities similar to those of other manufacturers, rather doubtful quality of the non-alcoholic variant, which was quickly withdrawn from production.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it can be noted that domestic breweries with a long history were valued and continue to be in demand among different strata of the population. In many respects, the taste and other qualities of the product are affected by the introduction of new technologies and the use of cheap raw materials along with preservatives. Unfortunately, many owners of elite companies tend to make a profit with minimal investments, which does not always lead to the desired result. I want to believe that the Vyatich brewery will continue to produce a quality and natural product.
