Arseny Logashov: the history of the Russian defender

Russian footballer Arseny Logashov, once considered one of the most promising defenders, has not appeared on the field for a long time as part of Moscow's Lokomotiv. The lack of game practice does not suit a young player who plans to find a new team already during the current winter break in the championship.

Coming to "Khimki"

Arseny Logashov began to take the first steps to professional football at the age of 6 years, studying in sports sections of native schools in Kursk. In the course of the development of the young defender, many experts noted the incredible talent of the player, and at the age of 16 the footballer decided to try to conquer Moscow, where he played for the youth structure of Academica. For a couple of years in the Moscow team, Logashov managed to prove himself and attracted attention from a number of professional teams, including the Moscow region "Khimki", with whom the defender signed a contract in January 2009.

From Moscow to Makhachkala

The first half-year Arseny Logashov played for the youth squad of the "Himchan" and only in the summer began to get into the application for the team's games in the Premier League. The debut of the young player in the main national championship took place on September 18 of the same year: the defender was replaced by a few minutes in a game lost against Khimki against Spartak Nalchik. Soon after, a new head coach came to the team, which entrusted Logashov to finish the season at the base, releasing the player 5 more times on the field.

However, a string of failures near Moscow club sent "Khimki" to the First Division, where under the leadership of Alexander Tarkhanov and his followers Arseny played in a new way. In his second season for the first professional club in his career, the Russian appeared 20 times on the field, after which he consolidated his success by appearing in 17 meetings in the championship 2010/2011. As a result, the talent of the prospective defender rated Makhachkala "Anji", which acquired Logashov, immediately sending him to rent in Voronezh "Torch".

Successes in "Anji"

After playing for another six months in the FNL, Arseny Logashov returned to Anzhi as a real fighter and quickly found himself at the heart of the team. As part of the founding of the Makhachkala club, the defender's debut took place in March 2012. In the match of the championship of Russia against the capital "Spartacus" Arseny played all 90 minutes.

Under the leadership of Guus Hiddink, who trusted the player, Arseny Logashov became an indispensable player, regularly appeared on the field both in the Premier League and in the European League. The vast experience of the defender, including the international one, seriously increased its value in the transfer market, and also expanded the list of teams that were interested in him. And in the summer of 2013, due to a change in the development of Anji, Logashov quickly found himself a new team.

Rent in Rostov

Arseny's new club was Moscow's Lokomotiv, which immediately sent the player to an annual lease in Rostov. For Rostov, Logashov spent a successful segment in his career, having issued his first goal in the Premier League, scoring in the gates of the "Ural", and also noting the first productive pass, thanks to which the Rostov club pulled a draw from former club defender "Anji". In just a season Arseny spent 26 matches in the T-shirt of Rostov, but in the final round in the meeting with Tomyu, the defender got injured, which he returned to Lokomotiv.

The struggle for a place in the basis of "Locomotive"

In his official club, Arseny Logashov, whose injury was very serious (it took more than a year for the player to recover), played only in early 2015. Having typed a good form, the Russian won a place in the basis and held 10 meetings in the season 2014/2015.

However, in the next championship, most of the time Logashov spent on the bench spare. The arrival in 2016 as head coach of the legendary Yuri Semin did not change the position of the player, only worsened it. As a result, in the season 2016/2017 Arseny never appeared on the field. At the winter break, he left with the club, seriously thinking about looking for a new team, staying at the training camp with the youth team of Lokomotiv.
