Mezhgornye Yanukovych: a fairy tale for the powerful

Everyone has long known that many Ukrainian and foreign politicians like to build luxury homes away from the bustling city. They are attracted by nature, silence, beauty of the territory and wide opportunities. So, for a long time already painful topic about Mezhgornya Yanukovych attracts today the great attention of ordinary people, journalists and politicians themselves.

Mezhgore today

At this stage of life Mizhgirya is the next residence of the former president of Ukraine, furnished with inexpressible luxury. It is located in the village of Novye Petrovtsi (Kiev region). Earlier, Yanukovych could easily get from the country house to the center of the capital and enjoy stunning scenery, moving both by car and helicopter. The former president was located in the residence between 2002 and 2014. The name "Mezhgore" became especially popular in the light of recent events, which showed the whole world how greedy and unfair some politicians might be.

Today anyone can visit this house as a museum of corruption. The scale of the residence, as well as the luxury with which it is furnished, amaze many people. Everything around simply "screams" about wealth and power. Each painting, statue or material from which the walls are made, would cost an ordinary person a whole fortune.

Mizhgirya Holiday Rental

The residence of Yanukovych in Mezhgorye was rented by the politician for a whole twelve years. Having assumed the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine, Viktor Fedorovich received a house, the area of which was 325 square meters. A little later, the former president of Ukraine rented another 3 hectares of land. According to the concluded contract, the monthly payment for the use of the territory cost Yanukovych 3.14 UAH per one hundred square meters. Note that the lease period was 49 years. And, of course, you can not miss the fact that Viktor Fedorovich made it clear that the purpose of the treaty is to get the opportunity to implement activities aimed at the implementation of various programs (including international ones).

Privatization of the Mezhgorye

According to some reports, in 2007 Yanukovych privatized the government dacha. This was evidenced by the decree signed by Viktor Yushchenko. An interesting fact is that the document was not published. However, there was a pseudo-confirmation, which was published in the newspaper. It testified that Mezhgorye is a part of the recreation center "Pushcha-Voditsa".

At the moment, many are trying to visit Mezhgornye Yanukovych. How to get to the miracle residence, which is often compared with Versailles, thousands of tourists and locals are interested. This is due to the fact that previously the government dacha was closed and was a private property, the territory of which no one had the right to cross. Today it is a real museum, in which people from different parts of Ukraine aspire to come, as well as foreigners.

What does the Mezhgore region consist of?

Many people have heard that Yanukovych's Mezhgore is a palace of indescribable beauty. But in addition, the structure of the facility includes many other institutions and even a zoo. So, in the residence of Viktor Fedorovich you can find a club house, a landing stage, an artificial lake, a garage for 70 units, a park, a golf course and other facilities.

One of the most interesting houses is Honka. It is built of ecological wood and fascinates with its design. Some often compare it with a house from a fairy tale, and not in vain. In addition to external charm, it affects the interior decor. To buy materials for a fantastic house, the former president needed 76 million hryvnia.

No less interesting object is the landing stage - a houseboat, more appropriately - the palace, which cost Yanukovych about $ 97,000. Also worth paying attention to the zoo, in which you can see peacocks, pheasants, kangaroos, Australian emus and other exotic inhabitants. And, finally, an artificial lake, which requires the work of ten artesian wells.

In general, Mezhgorie Yanukovych (photo of which fascinates with its luxury) may well become a dream for every person. Everything around has a wonderful rest, as if in a five-star hotel. Nevertheless, the former president of Ukraine at one time argued that, in addition to his house, on the territory of Mezhgore more nothing is located.

Government residence

Before the miraculous residence became known as the "Mezhgore Yanukovych", it housed other political figures. Earlier, during the Soviet Union, on its territory stood a monastery. In 1934, the government decided that the city needed a residence for officials, which would be located outside the city. It was this place that was chosen as a dacha for politicians. In those days, the government carefully concealed the location of the residence. This is not surprising, because such a luxury would be very hard on the eyes of ordinary people. And only now anyone can look at it.
