Stadium "Salute" (Dolgoprudny) - a new fitness center

Located in a convenient place, at the intersection of Dirizhabelnaya and Letnaya streets, the Salyut (Dolgoprudny) stadium has undergone many reconstructions for its long history, and once even a transfer. The sports facility was built and opened in the 30s of the last century. At that time people actively engaged in physical culture, and in the country the popularity of football grew. Local authorities decided to move the stadium, considering that it is a hindrance to the fruitful functioning of an open summer playground.

For 10 years residents of the city persuaded the authorities to move the stadium "Salyut" (Dolgoprudny) to its rightful historical place. When the stadium was being moved, large-scale construction work was carried out. We can consider them the first reconstruction of the object. The townspeople took an active part and offered themselves as assistants in restoring the sports and administrative parts of the stadium, as well as its functional zones.

The latest reconstruction, which moved the stadium "Salute" (Dolgoprudny), was completed already in the current millennium. Local residents were given the opportunity to go to the stadium in the autumn of 2008. The last discovery of the reconstructed object occurred at the ceremony of the city day and caused an enthusiastic reaction from those present. Soon the given object became the home arena of local football players, whose team wears the proud name "Long Ponds".

Construction of a sports and recreation complex on the basis of the stadium

Soon the city authorities decided to present the residents of Dolgoprudny with a gift in the form of a whole sports and health complex. The new complex on the idea of the organizers of the project was to be located on the main sports base of Dolgoprudny (Salyut stadium).

The reviews are eagerly awaiting the opening of physical education lovers only positive. They assumed the availability of modern infrastructure inside the facility and did not remain disappointed. Fans by that time already enjoyed the increased comfort in the stands, accommodating 6,000 people, and the players had the opportunity to train in good conditions. Everyone was happy, but not only football is the city.

Development of winter sports and popularization of navigation

Winter in Russia is traditionally long, the popularity of hockey is beyond limits. No self-respecting settlement can do without a good modern ice arena, swimming pool, basketball and volleyball courts, modern gyms. All these objects were decided to merge into a single project for the convenience of residents and to place Dolgoprudny stadium "Salyut" under the arches of the city. The pool had to surpass all the boldest expectations and forecasts. The swimming complex according to the designers' idea is combined with the ice platform and makes the visitors, as if by magic, move from paradise subtropics to an ice-cold extravaganza.

The best stadium near Moscow

During the construction, the complex was visited by numerous expert commissions that appreciated the infrastructure of the sports and recreation complex and recognized the facility as the best in the entire Moscow region. Stadium "Salute" (Dolgoprudny), which has conditions of European level, deserved the right to become a training ground for one of the teams of guests of the upcoming World Cup in 2018. It is a great honor for the whole city and the best estimate of the quality of the stadium. The authorities do not intend to stop at the construction of one sports complex, and soon plan to launch a project of another modern sports facility.
