About Osho's book "Awareness"

Osho's book "Awareness" helped many people to look at the world in a different way. Its author is Bhagwan Rajneesh, an Indian philosopher and religious figure. This person from the very childhood was interested in everything, that is connected with spirituality. His life is filled with unusual events. The philosopher had many followers. They gave him a new name - Osho. This is a kind of title, which students in Japan applied to their mentors. Osho wrote more than six hundred books. They record his lectures. Followers say that Rajneesh has reached the level of enlightenment.

In Osho's book "Awareness" the author from the very first lines brings such an interesting thought: the whole of human life can be compared with sleep. This is because not all people are in a state of awareness. Thus, their sleep continues around the clock - and so all life, from birth to death. And so, if a person keeps drowsing all the time, it should be woken up. To do this, many sages of antiquity developed whole methods. Their goal was to achieve enlightenment by themselves and others to remove from the constant sleep of the mind.

Osho's book "Awareness" teaches us to rejoice at every moment and appreciate what is. The highest value is the person himself and his life, Rajneesh believes. He opposes the mind, which identifies with sleep, and consciousness. Osho questions the value of the acquired experience, because it is subjective. He opposes nature and civilization. According to his observations, village residents are much more sensitive and vigilant than professors and academicians. After all, they are much closer to nature. And this factor determines a lot. After all, according to Rajneesh, it has long been proven that objects of nature have a consciousness. For example, when a woodcutter goes into a forest to cut trees, plants begin to tremble even before he starts to work. If the hunter is going to shoot a pair of animals, the animals around him feel a wild fear and whenever possible hide. They do this even before they begin to aim.

The book "Awareness" of Osho speaks about the importance of meditations. They lead a person to real consciousness, receptivity. Rajneesh says in the book that it is worth considering the teaching that the Buddha left behind him. In addition, the philosopher demands observation from his followers. A person should notice and fix everything that he does. You need to watch for your gestures, gait, speech, thoughts, dreams. It will aggravate consciousness. You must also feel everything that is happening around you. "Feel the breath of the wind, the light of the moon, the sun's heat," says Osho. "Awareness" teaches to be sensitive, alert, observant.

According to the author, life is God, and everything that people worship is only the product of their fantasies. Religion was created to put those who profess it in a certain framework.

Many unconventional questions are raised in his work "Awareness" Osho. It is not recommended to read this book to zealous Christians, Muslims and adherents of some denominations of Judaism. In fact, it teaches that sin does not exist. According to Rajneesh, there is no need to reproach ourselves for misconduct, since they are already in the past since they were committed. After all, we must take care of the present and the future. In addition, the author questions a number of Christian postulates and actually suggests that every person can become aware of himself as God. For the atheists, Osho's doctrine, on the contrary, is perfectly acceptable. Rajneesh sometimes only refers to the statements of the Buddha.
