6 strange conspiracy theories that turned out to be true

The world's leading mass media rarely pay attention to the shocking truth about the work of governments or state secret services. Most often, such exposures are presented to readers as another delusional "conspiracy theory", absolutely not verifying their reliability.

Recently, there have appeared such publications, trying to change this pattern. They publish shocking news in an unobtrusive form, giving the reader the right to choose what to believe, and what to consider a lie.

Some of the "conspiracy theories", considered fiction, were confirmed by undeniable facts and confessions. This article presents the most notorious of them.

Shooting at non-existent targets

In 1965, the American destroyer "Maddox" in the Gulf of Tonkin released more than 300 shells on the boats of North Vietnam. From this incident, a long war began, which claimed the lives of millions of people.

As it turned out, this incident was simply invented by the entourage of President Lyndon Johnson in order to justify the invasion of Vietnam. In fact, there were no military boats there - the destroyer simply fired on the water.

Secret agents of the FBI in various organizations

Another confirmed "conspiracy theory" concerns the work of the counterintelligence department of the FBI. Its agents were implanted in various political parties or public organizations, and then began to discredit them by their behavior. In addition to this method, the staff of the department organized psychological attacks on people disliked by the government, created dirt on the opposition politicians, intimidated, and sometimes killed their victims.

Confirmed cases of FBI interference - intimidation of critics of the war in Vietnam, psychological pressure on public leaders, activists and journalists. For example, they almost succeeded in instilling paranoia against the well-known oppositionist Martin Luther King. Agents always followed him on their heels, listened to his phone and house, tried in every possible way to destroy his marriage, and once they sent him a disgusting anonymous letter with filthy accusations. So they hoped that King would commit suicide.

The truth was revealed when in 1971 a group of activists managed to seize the documents, in which the program of the department's work was described.

Plan to make Cuba a terrorist country

In the sixties of the last century, the US Army Staff developed the "Operation Northwoods" plan. According to him, a series of terrorist acts committed allegedly under the decree of the Cuban government was to take place on the territory of the country. Thus it was planned to "brainwash" the inhabitants of the country and call their support in future military aggression.

Fortunately, President Kennedy did not agree with the plan, according to which the US would expect mass killings of civilians, explosions of apartment buildings in big cities, the seizure of aircraft, the sinking of ships and other horrors.

Control over the main means of mass media by the CIA

Since the beginning of the Cold War, the CIA has developed an action plan code-named Operation Mockingbird, according to which the organization's agents contacted and recruited the best journalists, so that the CIA could manipulate public opinion through the media and collect intelligence.

The program operated for almost 30 years, until most of it was uncovered. As stated in the full report of the US Congress, the CIA maintained an intelligence network around the world. Thus, intelligence was carried out and influence was exerted on people with the help of covert propaganda. The CIA had practically direct access to a large number of printed publications, as well as to radio and television stations.

Experiments on its own citizens

In 1995, President Bill Clinton on behalf of the government officially apologized for MKUltra. The program developed by the CIA operated from the 1950s until 1973. Its official purpose is the development of chemical and biological weapons in case of war. However, the experiments went too far.

According to the documents, under the guise of the MKUltra plan, the CIA conducted research on people using narcotic substances, electronics, hypnosis, verbal and sexual violence, and torture. In total, the program involved about 80 universities, hospitals, prisons and pharmaceutical companies.

Most reports of terrible experiments were destroyed in 1973, immediately after the MKUltra operation ceased to be secret. Therefore, much of what happened was a mystery, and no one was brought to justice.

Adolf Hitler did not die in 1945

It turns out that Hitler did not commit suicide in the spring of 1945. He secretly fled to Argentina, where he lived quietly for another 17 years.

At first, this information was perceived as another conspiracy theory, until the FBI published interesting documents. According to them, the Bureau knew that Hitler was alive, but he hid it for many years.

Documents confirm the journalistic investigation of the British Gerard Williams and Simon Dunstan. According to their book, Hitler fled to Argentina, started a new family there, brought up two daughters and lived until 1962.

There are other information indirectly confirming these studies. For example, the scientists confirmed that the fragments of Hitler's skull were actually belonged to a young woman. There is also evidence that the leaders of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition were informed that Hitler's death had not been confirmed, but decided to keep silent about it.
