Will Russian smartphones conquer the world?

Russian technologies in the field of communications are not standing still. Moreover, they are ambitious in the world market. The company Yota Devices at the last representative consumer electronics exhibition CES-2013 presented to the general public YotaPhone (таtafon). This is a completely new Russian smartphone, which has an original design, a rich set of functions, as well as two large screens and is able to work on LTE networks, that is, networks of a new generation.

Nobody believed

How was the first Russian smartphone born? The project was conceived in 2010. It was then that for the first time Dmitry Medvedev demonstrated a model of the future Russian mobile device. It was a very curious innovation project of the company "Scartel", from it in the future will be released Yota Devices. At that time, no one fully believed that in two years the first Russian smartphones would appear at the trial of the world community. They will not just stand aside somewhere, but will be in the center of attention of critics and rightfully become winners of the nomination "Mobile devices", leaving behind the favorite of that day - Xperia Z.

Even leaders have bypassed

What is so hooked in this device? Is a Russian smartphone with two screens liked only for the design? About everything in order. Perhaps no one will deny that the Russian developer in the field of communications has always had interesting thoughts and ideas. However, the matter did not always reach the beginning of mass production. In the case of Yotafon Everything turned out the best way. Russian smartphones have managed to outstrip even the traditional leaders of the mobile world. The fact that the phone has two screens is not a know-how. But the presence of a display with electronic ink is something special. In addition, the device is capable of operating under the conditions of all known high-speed cellular networks, both in Russia and in the world.

A lot of useful functions

Russian smartphones from YotaPhone are able to perform their work on the basis of Android (Jelly Bean 4.2). The processor is "charged" with 2 GB of RAM. However, the built-in memory did not disappoint. It is no worse than the analogous copies - 32/64 GB. Among other things, the "newcomer" was equipped with a pair of video cameras and the ability to support LTE, 3G and GSM standards. By the way, with all this, Russian smartphones organically combine both the bukrider and the computer. The screen located on the back of the device, using the "electronic ink" system, is able to work constantly. At the same time, the display consumes a minimum of energy. Due to this, the battery of the mobile device is very long. As already mentioned, the design was pleasantly amazed. It looks original, functional and at the same time quite compact. The public is skeptical about the Russian creation. He is perceived more as a kind of momentary fashionable trend that will soon pass, giving way to real sharks of the mobile world - Nokia, Samsung and Iphone. However, the makings of the Russian mobile device are good, so let's not rush to conclusions. Perhaps this device can make a technological leap and become the fashion trendsetter in the world of smart phones. But whether it will be so, time will tell.
