Biography of the architect

Architect Boris Uborevich-Borovsky was born in 1959 in a family of repressed. His grandfather along the line of the mother was a hero of the Civil War and a famous military leader, and Brother Vladimir is also an architect and a caricaturist artist.

The architect Uborevich-Borovsky in 1982 graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, then worked at OAO Mosproekt. In 1993 he founded his own architectural studio and together with other architects he initiated the restoration of the Moscow Architectural Society. In 2010 he published his first book.

Professional activity

Uborevich-Borovskiy (architect) is a contemporary figure in design art that helps create a special cosiness and make housing more cozy and comfortable.

In his youth, he graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, where he acquired all the required knowledge and skills in designing. The subsequent activity of the master was closely connected with the design institutes of Moscow. Ten years after graduation from the academy, a young architect, Uborevich-Borovsky, founded his own workshop. The studio is mainly aimed at designing out-of-town houses in the suburbs and designing apartments in Moscow.

To date, Boris Olegovich is not only the director of his own workshop, but also part-time work in Mosproekt. He specializes in projects of various town-planning complexes, public and residential buildings.

Principle of work and features of the master's work

The portfolio of the architect Uborevich-Borovsky clearly shows that it is a person who aspires to move forward all the time. He likes to study space and is looking for a combination of colors.

The master himself prefers to work in the style of minimalism, although he sometimes applies other styles to decorating the interiors. The uniqueness of his work is connected with the vast experience, since the master has been working in the field of interior design for a long time.

When arranging the interior, the architect takes into account the proportions of the room, the shape, the color combination, and only then thinks through and develops the design.

The best projects

The modern architect Boris Uborevich-Borovsky is striking and impressive with his creativity, his works are mostly executed in the style of minimalism and emphasize the clarity and laconicism of the lines. A talented designer with his team created a lot of different objects.

The most famous works are real estate objects on Khodynka, the Moscow House of Photography, which later turned into a "Multimedia Art Museum". The most favorite project of the architect is a loft in Filippovsky Lane, which was completed long enough and turned out cozy, bright and very comfortable. This project was carried out almost in one breath, inexpensive and very fast. It turned out very effective object.

The restaurant located in the bank building was cozy. The interior is created with elements of classics, namely:

  • Chandeliers;
  • An ivory piano;
  • Mirrors in the frames.

Quite unusual was the loft in Zhukovka. In this interior there is a kind of transparency, since almost all doors are missing, and the common space is free of all styles. This interior perfectly combines glass, simple shapes, and there is not a single extra detail.

Almost all projects are executed in a recognizable style, in which the creative approach of the master to the interior arrangement is immediately read.

Architect's view of work

Architect Boris Uborevich-Borovsky believes that it is necessary to create an interior in such a way that it is the most comfortable for a person's life. In his works he tries to look at the arrangement of living space as a designer, to work with a plane and volume.

The distinctive features of his projects are laconism, asceticism and monochrome. He is convinced that the living space should only be the background and emphasize the person who lives in it. However, despite the fact that the arrangement of living space is only a background, it should be as functional as possible, decent and comfortable. The main task of the architect is that he must understand the customer and be imbued with his interests.

The designer pays much attention to space and its formation. In this case, it is necessary to create a single space for the whole apartment. He tries to remove all doors and blind walls to make the interior more light and spacious.

Master about his work

The basic principle of the work of the architect Uborevich-Borovsky is very simple, but convincing enough. The team of masters works in the principle of minimalism, trying to follow exactly the basic architectural rules.

Firm style is always guessed almost unerringly, since it is characterized by:

  • Concise design;
  • Graphics;
  • Neutral palette;
  • Straightforwardness.

However, at the same time, the master claims that he never thinks about how to make a building or interior more conceptual. For him the most important thing is to create an interesting project. Regardless of whether the interior is a penthouse or residential complex, the workshop always tries to work in a modern style. However, despite the desire to introduce the most fashionable trends in the interior, they are quite realistic and designed for people.
