Project

In May 2012, the government issued a decree signed by the head of the city. In accordance with it, the construction and start-up of the Kotelniki metro station were planned. M. Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor, who deals with urban development affairs, supervised how quickly this plan was being implemented.

Beginning in October of the same year 2012, the issue of the project, which was to be commissioned in the future by the Kotelniki metro station, was occupied by one of the divisions of SK MOST. They began to work on the construction of part of the line. A fragment of it was to be a development, stretching from "Zhulebino" to the points where the exits of the metro station "Kotelniki" will be. It was planned to build a 900-meter path. The station was built in an open type. The complex itself was supposed to occupy 374 m. Turnover dead ends were planned to be located for 246 m. Tunnels from both sides were held with the assistance of a special complex, which investigated the correct operation of the project.

Knowing about such large-scale works, people were eager to visit "Kotelniki". Metro, the opening of which took place in September 2015, gathered a large number of passengers.

Characteristics

In this station there are columns with two spans. It is not embedded deep. Goes to the depth of the earth only 15 m. It's like Zhulebino, but it's completely different.

The passengers' eyes are brightened by the bright colors of the local decoration, the elements of the composition have rounded shapes. The ceiling is straight and even. Under your feet you will see a red granite. In 2010-2013, the developers saw a plan in which the "Zhubelino" was later built. They wanted to make the walls of green and blue tones and another form of columns.

Now the decoration of the station includes elements of marble and granite. Here calm soft and light colors predominate. It also uses stainless steel, from which the original inserts were made.

Here you can get to one of the underground lobbies, which has the metro station "Kotelniki". Exits from the subway is just in each of these rooms.

Where can I get to

The way that lies to the north-west, is near the Zhulebino area number 6. Also from here you can get to the "City B". Going to the east, you can find yourself at the highway Novoryazanskogo. In the future, there will be a TPU, which will also be accessed.

In the construction used a few interesting innovations, which in the future can be used in other metro stations in Moscow. Once in the lobby, you can go to one of the vending machines and buy the products that you like. Basically it is a fragrant coffee, nourishing snacks, delicious ice cream.

The most interesting novelty is the device with which you can wrap the umbrella in polyethylene. After passing through the entrance turnstile, you can read the data from your bank card.

The authorities plan to build a transplant between the local point and Novoryazansky Highway, where buses stopping in the far directions can stop. In addition, the project has parking for cars intercepting type. From two sides for this will leave free reserves, in which it would be possible to build two extra inputs.

Interesting details

Also, there were two automatic devices, with the help of which anyone can recharge their mobile device, if it is discharged at the most inappropriate for this time. However, people perceived this innovation is not very grateful, so after acts of vandalism as early as November of last year the device had to be dismantled. But it was very convenient to use four sockets of machines, different ports and cable connections.

From the very beginning, there were signs of two types: new and old. However, the initial plan is fundamentally different from what is on this site today. So there were only old signs.

Reason for the delay

First we wanted to launch this item in 2013, but there were some problems. This was due to the owners of land that are nearby. Also decided to finish in the fall of 2014. However, the differences did not exhaust themselves, so it was necessary to delay.

One of the landowners planned to organize a shopping center over this station, which certainly did not match the plans of the developers. After the wrangling between the businessman and the state authorities, it was still possible to gain the opportunity to deploy work here.
