The choice of a higher educational institution, especially for a schoolboy who was not yet clear, is a rather serious problem. It is necessary to approach it with all responsibility, because making the right choice today, tomorrow you will do your favorite thing. Entrance examinations are of great importance, therefore it is necessary to prepare for them in advance and as seriously as possible.

Our article will tell you about two well-known institutions of higher education, which from year to year have a great demand among entrants - the All-Russian State University of Cinematography. S.A. Gerasimova (VGIK) and the Russian State Humanitarian University (RSUH). Let's start with the first one.

VGIK was founded in 1919 in Moscow as an institute, and in 2008 it was renamed into a university. Today VGIK is famous for having released from its walls the most famous directors, actors, installers and operators. VGIK conducts entrance examinations in the following specialties: drama and cinema actors, cameramen, screenwriters, directors of various plans, video critics, sound engineers, editors (art workers), art directors.

To enter the specialty of the actor of dramatic cinema, the entrant passes a test, which is conducted in 2 stages. General educational subjects, such as Russian language and literature (according to the results of the Unified State Examination), are surrendered before it. 1 stage consists of reading by heart a fable or a fragment of a poem or prose, also at this stage the musical and plastic data are checked. At the second stage, an interview is conducted individually with each applicant, during which his knowledge in the field of cinematography, both domestic and international, is clarified, and the overall cultural level is determined. The budget department can take no more than 17 people, for a fee to 10.

The cost of one academic year at this university is about 162,000 rubles. Not a little, is not it, but what future awaits a young talented actor! Applicants who already have higher education, take all the necessary exams in the general order. For the period of study the hostel is provided.

RSUH - rules of admission

Some pass entrance examinations at the RSUH. This is understandable, because the RSUH has a completely different focus. This higher educational institution prepares in its walls specialists in history, political science, philosophy, philology, public relations specialists, religious studies and journalism. Entrance examinations at the RSUH we consider on the example of admission to the Faculty of Political Science. So, to become a student, you need to pass the entrance examinations at the RSUH:

- Russian language;

- Social Studies;

- history;

- foreign language.

All examinations are given in the form of USE.
In 2012, the RGGU provided 9 budget places for the specialty of political science. The cost of training at a paid department is 69,600 rubles.
