What is SNILS and why is it needed?

From the beginning of zero, to be exact since 2002, in Russia the system of compulsory pension insurance has been adopted. Now every employer has to pay special insurance premiums for employees. What to do in case of loss

Another important question that interests citizens: how to get lost SNILS and is it worth changing documents if you have changed any personal data?

Here everything is also extremely simple. If the document is lost, you should visit the personnel department or the accounting department of your company and write the corresponding application. Then everything will happen without your participation. The employer will independently inform the Pension Fund about the problem, and you will receive a duplicate of the SNILS.

You can apply to the RF PF independently. Just write the application, and after 30 days, pick up the document.

If you have changed any data entered in the SNILS, or found an error, the "plastic" will have to be changed. The procedure is similar to obtaining a new document and also takes no more than a month.

Please note that only your personal data will change in the new document, but the certificate number will remain unchanged. Despite the fact that the ILS ceases to be in effect at the time of the death of the owner, the insurance number from the database is still not deleted.
