What are the pelvic organs. Pathologies of these organs

Pelvic organs - the rectum, bladder, vagina, as well as the uterus with uterine tubes and ovaries. The above structures together with the pelvic bones surrounding them , vascular structures, lymph nodes and soft tissues - this is the anatomical area of the organism that interests us.

Diseases of the pelvic organs, called otherwise ESR, occur when the above-mentioned female reproductive organs are exposed to the inflammatory process. The cause may be an infection. In other cases, the ECPs are associated with infectious pathologies, from which the pelvic organs suffer. These are serious female complications, sexually transmitted infections.

In a number of cases with such inflammations the pelvic organs are very seriously damaged. Such pathologies can be irreversible and often lead to infertility.

Unfortunately, the pelvic organs suffer from inflammatory diseases quite often. For example, in the US, more than a million women are exposed to the EOD every year. Inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs lead to the phenomenon of ectopic pregnancy. The most common are girls in adolescence.

The pelvic organs suffer from diseases for the following reasons. If we look at the cervix, it normally prevents further penetration of bacteria that enter the vagina. When lesions such venereal diseases as gonorrhea, chlamydia, cervix, the barrier functions are lost. Accordingly, it loses its ability to protect internal organs from the penetration of microorganisms.

Untreated chlamydia and gonorrhea account for up to 90% of the tubing that accompany the penetration of pathogenic bacteria into the upper genital tract. In other cases, the pelvic organs are subjected to inflammatory processes due to infection with abortions, childbirth. The cause of the pathology may be the introduction of infection during surgical and / or research procedures in the relevant area of the small pelvis.

The organs of the small pelvis, undergoing EEC, suffer from such symptoms:

  • Discomfort in the lower abdomen, blunt pain;

  • Disorder of monthly cycles. They are irregular, accompanied by pain;

  • Urination is also painful;

  • Pain, not associated with a monthly cycle, cramping or spasmodic;

  • Fever with chills;

  • Pain during sex.

Certain factors are known that expose the pelvic organs to the risk of inflammatory processes. The risk group includes those suffering from venereal diseases, as well as their carriers. Women who had previously suffered an ESRT can undergo repeated episodes of inflammation (relapse). In adolescent girls who have an active sex life, pelvic organs suffer from diseases more often than in older people.

How are pelvic organs treated in case of inflammation? At the initial stage, antibiotic treatment is prescribed, which is taken internally. If this method is ineffective, as well as in severe cases of the course of the disease, the patient is hospitalized. In this case, antibiotics are injected, including intravenous injections.

If the EGC is accompanied by an abscess, surgical intervention is additionally required. Abscesses are subject to autopsy, and in some cases the organ in which they are formed is removed.

As prevention of EHEC, it is recommended to abstain from sexual relations with several partners. It should also seek the appearance of the slightest signs of inflammation, seek medical help, regularly undergo gynecological examinations and, if necessary, undergo diagnostic procedures. In the case of timely diagnosis, it is possible to effectively cure pathology.
