What are the little pinkies batteries?

In today's world, there is not a single person who does not use batteries. With their help they use flashlights, watches, children's toys, remote controls and much more.

There are several types of them, differing in shape and size: large, medium, finger, little batteries, square and round. They can be primary, used once, and secondary - they are applied repeatedly, because they can be recharged.

Misinchikov batteries are a source of electrical energy. It is formed as a result of a chemical reaction that flows inside, transforming chemical energy into electrical energy. The shape of the batteries is not accidental. A tall and fairly narrow cylinder copes better with heat dissipation and has a much lower resistance inside the battery.

Any mizinchikovye batteries have the same device: inside there is an electrolyte and two different metals. One metal is an oxidizer-anode, it takes electrons. The second metal is a reducing agent - a cathode that can give off electrons. The role of electrolyte can be solutions of alkalis, salts or acids. As a result of the interaction of these substances, a chemical reaction occurs, causing the electromotive force, which facilitates the transition of one energy to another.

Batteries mizinchikovye can withstand a small load in the amount of 1.2 - 1.6 V. But this is enough for the operation of some devices, for example for a control panel or a small player.

We can distinguish several most widely used types of batteries, different in chemical composition:

  1. Salt - mainly used for wall clocks and in various consoles.
  2. Alkaline or alkaline - used for appliances that need high current: flashlight, electric shaver, radio-controlled machine, camera and others.
  3. Lithium - are used today is quite rare. They are produced in limited quantities for a specialized type of batteries and for a special type of equipment equipped with a number of safety devices and special controllers that monitor the level of charge.
  4. Mercury - differ in the constancy of the voltage and very high energy intensity, but they are practically not produced because of the harmful effect of the mercury contained in them.
  5. Silver - have a high energy intensity and work excellently in both low and high temperatures. Do not apply massively because of the high cost.

Batteries mizinchikovye - one of the most common, convenient and widely used in everyday life types of batteries. They are convenient in operation and storage. For the most part, they are absolutely safe for human health.

Batteries mizinchikovye - this is the kind of "energy storage", which can be used absolutely in any apparatus and devices. However, they do not require a large physical space, which makes them indispensable in compact devices.
