What additional prayers are there?

In the name of God the Merciful. The second pillar of the great Islam is the fulfillment of the five-fold prayer. From the words of the Prophet (peace be upon him) it becomes clear how important prayer is for the believer, he also pointed to the merits of namaz and how it affects the life of a Muslim. This is indicated by the words of Allah Almighty himself in the Qur'an. Observance of five-fold prayer is a duty of a Muslim, and abandonment is unbelief, according to the authentic hadeeth that Imam Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Abu Daud and others brought in their books. And this is the opinion of Ahli Sunn on this issue.

In addition to the obligatory prayers, there are also additional prayers in Islam, for which a great reward is promised from the Lord of the Worlds. Abandoning such prayers is not considered a great sin, but this is a blameworthy affair in religion. To know what kind of additional prayers, types and their time in general, one should look at the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him). In it everything is very clear and clearly explained.

Ratibat prayer

The first kind of additional prayers, which deserves special attention, are the ratibats. About their merits The Prophet (peace be upon him) in his authentic hadith said that their alignment will cause the construction of a house in paradise. There are 12 rak'aats during the day ritabat of prayer. A special sunnah is to read two rak'aats voluntarily before the morning compulsory prayer. Prayer is read in a shortened form, and it does not take a very long time. The Messenger of Allaah (peace be on him) said that this prayer is better than this world and everything that is in it. Therefore, it should not be neglected.

Next come 4 rak'aats before lunch prayer and two after. Following the example of the Prophet (peace be upon him), it is evident that when reading these ratibats, one must read any other surah in each rak'aat after Fatih. Also these additional prayers include building after the sunset and evening prayers. They are read by 2 rak'aats, in general it will be 12. To follow the Prophet was full, one must try to stand these prayers. According to the hadith from the Messenger of Allah, these additional prayers on Sunnah are read at home, so that the Lord of the Worlds will give a share of the blessing to the believer's house.

The night prayer of Tahadjut

Almost a year Tahajout - a prayer for the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions - was compulsory. Then, by His mercy, Allah sends down Surah, in which he makes the nightly extra prayer voluntary. However, all the same, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) himself was constant in his alignment and encouraged his companions to this. There is a certain hadith, where the Prophet (peace be on him) informs about the descent of the Gracious Allah to the near heaven. This happens in the last third of the night, and at this time all prayers of believers are accepted.

An additional prayer at night is to read 2 rak'aats and aloud, but not in a very loud voice. The Prophet (peace be on him) loved a long stand, practically did not begin to grow light. I read long surahs, carefully pronouncing all the sounds and pausing. He said that after five obligatory prayers, Tahajout goes according to the reward. The righteous predecessors of this community liked to spend the nights in prayer, because they had a completely different understanding of religion. They understood the true value of this prayer.

Witr namaz

Witr - this is what ended the night extra prayer. The name is because of the oddity of Rakaat, they can be from 1 to 11. The Messenger of Allah said that reading Witr is a duty, and whoever leaves it is not from his community. That's how much he was demanding of his commission. It is necessary to add du'a kunut to this additional prayer. However, there are several opinions about when to add it. Hanafis read the kunut in Vitra every day, the Shafi'ites in the second half of Ramadan.

The distinction of this prayer is that it has a special sequence. There are additional suras in prayer, as indicated by the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Thus, in the first rak'aat after Fatihi, al-A'la is read, and in the second and third al-Kafirun and al-ihlyas. Although the reading of other parts of the Quran is also permitted.

The prophet strictly forbade him to go to bed without reading Witr prayer. He himself woke up for the night prayer and ended his prayer with one rakatha of prayer Witr. A Muslim who does this will receive a lot of good for following the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him).

Namaz spirit

This type of prayer is recited after the sun has already risen and until it is at the zenith. The Spirit is a prayer at a time when the person is most immersed in worldly affairs. The remembrance of Allah at such a time is a very rewarding good deed, and the reward for this is great. In some traditions from the Prophet (peace be on him) it is narrated that Allah will forgive the man who read the prayer of the spirit, even if sins are like suds in the sea. And in another hadith it is said that in Paradise there is a gate of the Spirit-namaz, and through them those who were constant in it will enter into paradise.

Strict indications of the number of rak'aat are not, it is a voluntary prayer. However, it is reported that the Messenger of Allah did 2, 4, and sometimes 8 rak'aats. Everyone chooses what he wants and can read, because he will receive the award himself. The fulfillment of this prayer becomes the reason for the satisfaction of Allah, perhaps because of the spirit of the slave, he will enter paradise.

The Prophet (peace be on him) said that one who reads the morning prayer with the collective, and then remains in the mosque, reminding Allah, and so long as the sun is not high, then he will read the prayer of the spirit, he will receive the reward as for the full umra and hajj. And this is a great opportunity for Muslims!

Prayer tarawih in the holy month of Ramadan

The holy month of Ramadan is a special time for Muslims. During this period, we must especially diligently stay away from our sins and strive to make as many benefits as possible. Additional prayers in Islam in Ramadan occupy a special place, because the reward for them increases. However, there is a prayer that can be found only this month. This tarawih pray. This prayer is read every day after the evening prayer and until the first signs of the dawn appear.

Those who read tarawih salah, hoping for the reward of Allah, will be forgiven for their past sins. This is an approximate translation of the hadeeth from the Prophet (peace be upon him). This is a very important Sunnah for both men and women. It is better to read it with the collective in the mosque, but you can also at home. As for the number of rakaatas of Taraweeh Namaz, during the time of the righteous caliph Umar, 20 rakaats were planted. However, there are traditions about 11 rak'ahs, everything depends on people's desires, how much they want blessings. But you do not need to go to extremes.

During the Tarawih prayer, it is advisable to read the entire Qur'an for the month of holy Ramadan. A truly believer takes great pleasure in this prayer. It also acts as a factor in the unity of the community, because the importance of collective namaz can not be overemphasized.

Additional prayer after ablution (tahiyyatul voodoo)

Having performed, as it should, washing and having read a special dua at the end, the person becomes ritually purified. In this state, one can approach the Lord of the Worlds with every entreaty. However, in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) there are words about the dignity of namaz after bathing or tahiyyatul voodoo.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) somehow met one of his companions, who was constant in committing tahiyatul voodoo. It is narrated in the hadeeth that the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him about the deed that brings the companion closer to paradise. It is reported that his footsteps were heard in paradise. Then the companion replied that he always performs two rak'aatas of prayer after each ritual bath. This tradition reflects the great dignity of this prayer, and how this deed is loved by Allah.

Prayer of the greeting of the mosque (tahiyatul Masjid)

Everyone in the world has his right, and this applies to the houses of Allah. Based on the name of the additional namaz tahiyatul Masjid, one can understand that it is directly connected with the mosque. It is translated as "prayer of the greeting of the mosque". There is a direct order of the Messenger of Allah, entering the mosque at once did not sit down, but to perform two rak'aatas of prayer.

There are many versions of whether this prayer is always done, or there is a time when it does not need to be done. Comparing all the arguments, one can see that the first correct opinion is the first. The Prophet, even on his Friday sermon, stopped and made the tahiyatul read the Masijid of one of his companions. So important is this prayer. After all, Friday's sermon takes a special position in Islam, and every Muslim should listen to it. This is one of the most powerful arguments in favor of this opinion.

Requesting help in matters through the prayer of the truth

Human knowledge is limited, and he often does not know how to act in a particular situation. But Allah is omniscient, and He has endless knowledge. Therefore, in all matters where there is doubt, one must ask for help from the Lord of the Worlds himself. In the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) there is such a wonderful namaz as the trichor. This prayer is an appeal for help to Allah.

Istikhora consists of two rakaats, after which you need to read a special prayer. The content of this prayer is the praise of Allah Almighty and the sounding of a problem that cares the believer. In prayer, a Muslim asks his Lord for help in choosing and trusts Him in this matter. Such an attitude helps to relieve tension. And then follows the help from Allah in the form of the best option.

After reading the prayer of the truth, one should consult the knowledge holders and act in accordance with the knowledge. Allah will find a way to help his sincere slave. After all, there is a promise of the Supreme Lord in the Koran, and this is already worth a lot.

Eclipse Prayer

According to Sunnah, there are additional prayers for many occasions. In the case of solar and lunar eclipses, the Prophet (peace be upon him) recited voluntary namaz, and his example is the best guide for the believer.

It is necessary to perform this prayer without azan and ykomat, it is somewhat like a Friday prayer. The difference is that the sermon is not read. According to the Hanafi madhhab, the prayer of the eclipse is read as ordinary two rak'aats. And the opinion of the Shafi'i scholars is the fulfillment of additional earthly obeisances, which are committed after reading the surah of Al-Fatiha. The Qur'an is recited to oneself in the solar eclipse, and when the lunar eclipse is heard. You can read both with jamaat, and individually.

This sunna is not very common in our time, but for its revitalization one can get a rich reward. After all, according to the hadeeth, the beneficiary of a hundred martyrs will be written down to the one who revives the sunnah.

Prayer tasabih

Another prayer from the number of additional prayers is tasabih. This prayer the Prophet (peace be upon him) taught his uncle Abbas and made the believers happy with the good news. He said that all sins will be forgiven if a Muslim makes at least one tasabih prayer.

In this prayer, the following words are uttered: "Subhanallahi val-hamdulillahi wa la ilaha illallahu wallahu akbar". They need to be repeated seventy-five times, in each rakaat prayer. The tasbeeh prayer itself is read in four rak'aats. The main difference from the other four-hat prayers is only this tasbich formula, which is pronounced in almost all positions.

An intention is made to perform a voluntary prayer in four rak'aats. Then you need to pronounce the Takbir and read Dua Ustigfar, then 15 times you need to pronounce the aforementioned Tasbich formula. Then read Sura al-Fatih and any other surah and say fifteen times tasbih. After doing a bow, and in this position the tasbih is pronounced ten times. Then they straighten out of their waist bows and again say ten times this tasbich formula. It is an earthly bow and ten times pronounced tasbih. Between the earthly bows and during the second one also this formula is pronounced ten times. In the end, one rak'ahat contains seventy-five tasbih pronunciation. The subsequent rak'aats are read in this way. For all prayer, the tasbeeha formula repeats three hundred times.

This prayer can be performed both with the team, and alone. But bearing in mind that this is a voluntary prayer, it will be better to do it alone. Generally, it is preferable to do voluntary prayers not in public, to exclude the element of show-off.

We have considered additional prayers and their description, now it becomes clear that the mercy of Allah is great in relation to people. Each type of prayer, indicated in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him), is the greatest wealth of a Muslim. Depending on how the additional prayer is called and when it is performed, it is necessary to perform it according to the sunna. If all the conditions are met, a person can approach Allah and receive for this a huge reward, the magnitude of which only the Almighty knows. One thing is known: retribution for good deeds will be paradise. For a believer, what could be better than coming to the abodes of pleasure and knowing that Allah is pleased with you? After all, voluntary namaz is the best way to satisfy the Almighty. For this reason, you can move away from the fire of hell and enter the paradise gardens. This is a success, after which there is no success!
