Sights of France ... It seems that any schoolboy without hesitation will immediately name a few of them: the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Cathedral of the Notre Dame, the Place de la Bastille, the Invalides. But this is not all. Anyone who is lucky enough to discover this country, will necessarily see it a little differently. One it will seem mysterious and mysterious, another quiet and thoughtful, and some will be destroyed by the secular life and vanity of the night city.

Section 1. Attractions of France. Paris and the suburbs

  • Probably, I will not reveal a secret to anyone, if I say that the Eiffel Tower is the symbol of the French capital. It also belongs to the most famous buildings of our planet. Every year, not even tens, and hundreds of thousands of tourists rush to Paris to admire the powerful 7300-ton construction, which, according to the creators, exerts no more pressure on the ground than a person sitting on a chair. The most curious can visit all three observation platforms, located at an altitude of 57, 115 and 276 meters above the ground.
  • The classical cabaret of Paris Moulin Rouge, which is located on Boulevard Clichy, in the famous red light district, near Pigalle Square. It was here that the cancan dance originated in the 19th century . This institution is also considered a symbol of disgrace and beauty, vice and creativity, a holiday of life and laziness.
  • The favorite place not only for kids, but also for a huge number of adults is an amusement park called Disneyland. Its territory of 1943 hectares is well known not only in France, but also far beyond Europe. To date, there are 50 attractions, and the park itself is divided into 5 thematic zones: Main Street USA, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Adventureland, Discoveryland. All of them are located around the main symbol of the fairy Disneyland - the castle of a sleeping beauty.
  • The Louvre is the largest palace-museum on the planet. Its history dates back more than 8 centuries. From the architectural point of view, the building does not represent any interest, and attracts millions of visitors every year for a different reason. Fans and connoisseurs of art and painting come here from all over the world to admire the rare collections of paintings.

Section 2. Sights of France. Normandy

Normandy is considered to be one of the most popular tourist destinations in France. This place, which at first sight is able to conquer its beauty of dreamers and romantics. The land of beautiful gardens and amazing parks is a paradise for hikers. Do you want to know what this region looks like? Close your eyes and imagine a land resembling a chessboard with green cells on it of all shades on it.

The territory stretches along the Seine and borders the Paris basin, almost ancient Brittany and the ever-raging sea, where it ends with a shore covered with large white sand and huge shells. This territory was and to this day remains a country of adventure and sea feats.

A trip to France will be considered incomplete if, after visiting Normandy, you do not taste a few sorts of cheese, do not quench your thirst with a delicious apple cider and do not treat yourself to a unique alcoholic beverage called Calvados.

Section 3. Sights of France. Cote d'Azur

Filled with hot sun beaches, old tiny towns, somehow miraculously built on steep cliffs - all this is a unique and amazing Côte d'Azur of France. For every tourist he is ready to present a wide range of landscapes, beautiful places, designed for romantic walks, as well as for noisy entertainment. Rest in the south of France implies a visit to the region of an area of 4300 km2.

A characteristic feature of this place is the sharp differences in altitude - from 0 to 3143 m above sea level.

It is difficult to imagine that such a relatively small area consists of 80% of a mountain massif, sheltered almost 200 hectares of forest. In depth, there are a total of about 1000 km of turbulent rivers. Numerous tourists annually rush here to enjoy the sun-drenched nature.
