Bali: the island's attractions thousands of temples

"The island of gods and demons," as Bali calls it, is too unusual for this definition to fully convey its magic color, mystical charm and exotic character. By popularity and tourist attraction, it is so ahead of other regions of Indonesia - this is the largest island state on the planet , that the Balinese themselves cheerfully and condescendingly state: for most visitors their country is associated exclusively with one single island - Bali. The sights of this heavenly corner of the Malay Archipelago are simply amazing and capable of satisfying the most refined and pretentious taste.

Only one temple complex here is about two thousand, including a unique cave cult building - Gunung. Bali, whose attractions amaze with both natural and man-made diversity, is by no means the largest island of the archipelago. He is much smaller than Java, and Sumatra, and Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. But the Balinese fabulously lucky - the concentration of all kinds of attractive places for tourists here beats all records, which largely stimulates the economy of Bali. The sights of this blossoming piece of sushi in the Indian Ocean attract more than a million tourists from all over the world every year.

One of the most important man-made monuments of the island is the eleventh-century temple of Uluwatu, dedicated to the goddess of water, Davy Dan. It stands on a nearly 100-meter steep rock. He enters the six of the main sanctuaries of the island of Bali, whose attractions in many ways consist of a variety of temple complexes.

At the entrance to Uluwatu there is usually a rather colorful and peculiar "customs brigade" - a pack of monkeys begging nuts and fruits from tourists. Especially carefully it is necessary to watch glasses and ornaments, as these primates feed great weakness to shiny objects. The Uluwatu Temple is a definite symbol of human harmony with nature. Monkeys here are quite friendly to people, and the person answers them the same.

The nondescript interior of the interior of the temple does not fully convey the power and power of the goddess Davy-Dan, but it carries a certain mystical color. Every day hundreds of islanders come to this sacred place for the Balinese to perform a ritual prayer. But Uluwatu, a cultural heritage of Indonesia, also attracts a lot of interest from tourists.

There are countless similar structures in Bali. And each of them has its own unique zest. In addition, the island has a huge number of natural attractions of natural origin. For example, the forty-meter-high majestic waterfall Git-Git, an inimitable system of crater lakes or a reserve, called the "monkey forest". That is why tours to Bali from Moscow today are so popular.

And of course, one of the incredible natural wonders of the island are volcanoes, the most famous being Kintamani. Its peculiarity lies in a double crater, in one of which is the largest lake of the island - Batur, its shape resembling a bowl. Not far from Kintamani there are curative thermal springs. In the evenings from the top of the volcano there is a stunning panorama, "changing" in the colors of the night of the small villages lying at the foot of this dormant giant.

Hotels on the island of Bali are characterized by a fairly high level of service, which is also an integral part of the tourism business. The main resorts of the island of Bali are concentrated on the west coast and on the southern peninsula of Bukit, where even a peculiar enclave of luxury has grown-the Nusa Dua complex, isolated from the rest of Bali, with a palm grove, a golf course, shorn lawns and walkways. And, of course, with hotels of international class, which bought out here huge tracts of land.

The main purpose of such investments was to attract as many tourists as possible to a certain point on the island. This is beneficial from the point of view of logistics, economics and helps to preserve the pristine nature of the rest of the island. But after the beginning of this grandiose project, it turned out that he has his own minuses. Such a huge scale of construction led to a significant lowering of the water table. And this paradise of luxury in the near future can turn into a desert.
