Vyngapurovskoye deposit: where is and what stocks?

The Vyngapurovskoye field is of great benefit to our country. Today we will talk about it in more detail, we will find out how rich it is and what role it plays for the country's economy. It is worth noting that Russia is very rich in various minerals, on which economic well-being largely depends.

History

Vyngapurovskoye oil and gas field is located in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, which is located 20 km south-west of the town of Tarko-Sale. According to the administrative division, the deposit is located in the Tyumen region in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. A little more than 100 km from the deposit is the city of Noyabrsk. Directly near the deposit is a settlement with the same name.

The deposit was discovered in 1968. Initially, it was considered to be gas, but a number of geological studies that were regularly conducted on its territory showed that it is possible to extract oil there. Since that moment, the Vyngapurovskoye deposit has become a gas-oil field. In industrial operation it was introduced only in 1982 because of preparatory and research work.

Characteristic

The deposit belongs to the West Siberian oil and gas province. It is confined to the local submeridional uplift, which measures 15x25 km. Lifting complicates the central part of the shaft and has a raising amplitude of 200 m. Deposits of Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic are considered industrial-oil-bearing. Geographically, it is a lowland with frequent forest tracts. The presence of oil and gas deposits in the lower Cretaceous layers was discovered only in 1978. It should be noted that no seismic activity was detected on the territory.

To date, the field has 27 reservoirs. Of which 24 are used for oil production, which includes 4 gas-oil and oil-and-gas condensate layers. There are also three gas layers.

Geology

Since the start of the field's operation, up to today, about 24 million tons of oil have been extracted. This in turn equals 44% of the required amount of recoverable reserves each year with a real oil recovery factor of 0.21%.

The deposit has many layers and a complex structure. The oil-bearing floor is about 1600 m. It covers the thickness of rocks of Middle Jurassic and Upper Cretaceous.

Gazpromneft

The Vyngapurovskoye field belongs to Gazpromneft. It is one of the largest among the company's holdings. According to data for 2008, the production amounted to more than 3 million tons. At the same time, 35% of the project fund is still undeveloped reserves. The ground infrastructure includes a pre-treatment shop for oil, 5 pumping booster stations and 5 pumping station stations. The total length of pipelines to collect oil is about 600 km.

When setting up the field, the research institute "Giprotyumenneftegaz" was engaged in designing.

To date, gas reserves are 80 billion cubic meters.

Current state

For today, the field has a well-developed infrastructure for the extraction of gas and oil for industry. This allows you to work on the already identified areas of deposits and in the shortest possible time to open a new site with prospects for development. Oil is actively extracted from the Jurassic deposits and the neocom, as well as gas from the Seomann deposits. Very dense network of threads of gas and oil pipelines, through which the transfer of minerals. The gas pipeline Urengoy-Vyngapur-Chelyabinsk-Novopolotsk is laid on the territory of the field. Only a few kilometers from the field there is a main oil pipeline Kholmogorskoe-Fedorovskoye-Surgut-Omsk. The distance from Surgut to Vyngapurovsky deposit is approximately 400 km. There is a separate connection to the highway.

Main area of work

At the moment, the layers BV1, BV8 (south), BV8 are actively developing. The last layer is the main direction of work. Also, specialists are engaged in exploratory and evaluation work in single wells.

The main resources of the BV8 layer are located in the northern part of the territory. The regular decrease in strata occurs from the eastern and north-western directions. The work is carried out until the clay collectors completely replace the collectors. The nature of the distribution of reservoirs in this formation is locally lenticular. Also, the researchers found that from the northeast, the formation is expanding and its wealth is covered with oil. The main area of mining is heavily fragmented. It is also characterized by a lenticular shape, a gas cap in the region of uplifts, clayey rocks in the western zone and inconsistency of sandy-clay bodies.

The development of layers is carried out using a 9-point system, which has a grid density of 25 hectares / well. For the main formation BV8, a 7-toothen system is used.

Characteristics of plots

According to the conditionality of reserves and their geological location, the BV8 layer is divided into several sections: northern, main, southern, western and 50p. The site in the north is developed by specialists using a 3-row system. The territory is also subjected to additional drilling with a tightening row. The net density used is 14.3 ha / well. The site in the central part is developed using a 9-point system using a grid density of 12 hectares / well. In the near future, a transition to a 5-point system is planned. The southern and western sections are also being developed using a 9-point system, but the grid density here reaches 25 hectares / well. For well development 50r. Focal and near-water flooding with a density of 12 hectares / well is used.

The strata BV5, SE1 are still being developed by single wells, therefore they are in pilot production.

Methods of GDI at Vyngapurovskoye gas field

Since 1984, active water pumping has been conducted. A total of 56249.9 thousand m3 were pumped. Thanks to the use of modern methods of increasing oil recovery, it was possible to produce an additional 5,000 tons of oil. In total, during investigations of the GDI, four deposits in the Upper Jurassic, Neocomian and Cenomanian were identified. At a depth of 985 m, a massive reservoir deposit was installed in the Cenomanian, whose height is 90 m, and the GVK is 945 m.

The geological section of the Vyngapurovsky deposit has a gap. At the moment, it allows you to extract oil by more intensive methods by developing surrounding fracturing strata. A single hydrodynamic system was formed in the reservoir, which brought a number of advantages: it became possible to increase the rate of fossil extraction and increase oil recovery.

Summarizing the article, I want to say that Vyngapurovskoye gas field is one of the largest. Experts advise to carry out a number of measures to intensify the extraction of minerals. This includes waterflooding, which must be performed by hydrodynamic methods, drilling of horizontal trunks, processing of injection wells, work on the isolation and repair of the deposit, deepening and perforating methods, studies of the water saturation intervals, the normalization of the faces, the use of physical and chemical methods. As we see, there are opportunities to increase the efficiency of the field's work, the main thing is that there should be a desire. But with the current level of service, the Vyngapurovskoye deposit remains one of the most powerful.
