Volkov Valery is a pioneer hero

Volkov Valery is one of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. At a young age, he took part in the struggle against the fascist invaders and gained eternal glory. Valor's Valor is still an example to the younger generation. The memory of the pioneer is immortalized in the names of the streets. His personality is also known abroad. The hero's name is on the list of heroine pioneers.

Childhood

Volkov Valery was born in 1929. His family was ordinary workers. We lived in Chernivtsi. He studied at a local school. According to some reports, already at a young age showed extraordinary talents in the field of literary art. He was able to compose good stories and write in an artistic style. Teachers predicted a good future for the boy. However, the war began. The Germans were rapidly breaking through the territory of the Soviet Union. Mother Valery died before 1941. My father was sick. But he continued to work as a shoemaker. Because of his father's illness, the family could not be evacuated. Therefore, after the German occupation, they remained on the territory controlled by the fascists.

Escape

As contemporaries say, Valeri's father took part in the Resistance and provided all possible assistance to the partisans. Upon learning of this, the Germans brutally killed a man. 13-year-old Valera managed to escape. He went to the Crimea, where his only relatives remained. At that time, many thought that the Germans could not get to the Crimea, so they were looking for salvation on the peninsula. Upon arrival in Bakhchisarai, it turned out that my uncle was not at home. And the boy lived there. However, later I had to run further - in Chernorechye. The village was practically on the front line. It was there that Valkov met Soviet spies. The soldiers took him with them and sent to Inkerman. There was a school in the mine. Children continued to be trained in the conditions of bombing and raiding enemy aircraft.

Participation in battles

But the study did not last long. After a short time during the evacuation class, Valera came under fire. Before his eyes, teachers and classmates were killed. After seeing the boy decided to get to the military unit, in order to fight with the enemy together with adults. Since practically everything was destroyed, the Red Army soldiers leave the boy at home, and he becomes the "son of the regiment." In part were the Marines. They always found themselves in the thick of the battle and held the Germans at the forefront. The boy helps the soldiers. At the front, he brings ammunition to the guns and helps in urgent matters. In particularly difficult moments, he with weapons in his hands beats off the fascist attacks. Due to the small growth often turns out to be scouts. Gets various important information for the command of the front: it determines the location of enemies, the amount of equipment, manpower and so on.

Volkov Valery was very educated, given the age and the fact that the last months of training took place in difficult conditions. He reads and loves poetry. During the rest reads to his comrades-in-arms poems and stories. He loves Mayakovsky. Patriotic poetry raises the spirit of the fighters. Participates in writing front-line newspapers. Such small leaflets were very common in the Red Army. Very often they were written by the soldiers themselves or brigade correspondents. Good literary skills allow Valery to write eloquently and beautifully. Therefore, the handwritten leaflet is distributed in other parts. Unfortunately, only one issue of this leaflet has survived to this day.

Initially, the newspaper was not known. Almost no one knew about the feat. The leaflet was hand-written and known only within the Crimean front. However, 30 years after the Victory, Valera's military comrades published 11 issues of the newspaper Trench Truth and described in detail the heroism of the pioneer. The search for a place began, the schools where the 7th Marine Brigade kept a long defense and repulsed several offensive by the fascists.

By the beginning of the summer of 1942 Volkov Valery fought in Sevastopol. The defense of this strategically important city was particularly stubborn. The fighting went literally for every meter of the Soviet land. The unit Valera acted in accordance with the tactics of urban battles. He and 9 other people were entrenched in the local school. From there they conducted aimed fire on the advancing fascists. In the 11th edition of the newspaper, the young man described these events in detail. Scout Volkov Valery fought along with the Russians, Lithuanians, Georgians, Uzbeks. On the example of his "ten" he showed the fortress of international friendship. The text itself is full of patriotism and love for the Motherland.

Death of the hero

In early 1942, the Red Army launched a large-scale offensive on the peninsula. However, the initial success was not developed, and the Soviet troops were discarded. Almost the whole Crimea was under the Nazi boot. However, the battles for Sevastopol were still going on, Volkov Valery also participated in them. The pioneer hero died in July. During the German offensive, he rushed to the walking tank and destroyed it with a bunch of grenades, and then died a brave man.
