The famous Soviet hockey player Tretiak Vladislav, whose biography will be briefly told in this article, is a three-time Olympic champion and a tenfold world champion, thanks to which he is inscribed in the Guinness Book of Records. It does not matter that his career ended more than a quarter of a century ago, he still still remains the most famous hockey player in the world and the idol of millions of fans.

The beginning of the path (numbers that say a lot)

Vladislav Tretiak, whose photo you can see in our article, was born on April 25, 1952 in the Moscow region. It was a sports kid, and following the example of his older brother, he was carried away by swimming, and then by diving.

From the age of 11 Vladislav started hockey at the CSKA sports school. There he was coached by Vladimir Efimov, who was replaced in 1967 by Anatoly Tarasov. In 1968, he made his debut in the match against Spartak in the CSKA team. And in 1969, in a match with Finland, he was already playing in the national team.

Imagine - the great goalkeeper played in the championships of the Soviet Union 482 matches! 117 games he spent at the World Championships and Olympic Games, 11 times participated in the Cup of Canada, five times proved to be the best among hockey players of the USSR and three times - Europe. Four times the talented sportsman was recognized as the best goalkeeper in the world championships.

The International Federation of Fans called him the best goalkeeper of the 20th century. As it should be, 9 months after the wedding, the firstborn appeared in the family - Dmitry. The birth of his son Vladislav celebrated widely with all the friends on the team (thank God that then they had no fees!). And in 1977 the family had another child - daughter Irinka. But at that time Vladislav Tretyak was in America, and when he received a telegram, the Americans immediately brought into his room booze and ice-cream cake. But since the next day the goalkeeper had to play, the feast did not work.

In her interviews, Tatyana Tretiak often says that being a celebrity's wife is a big job, because she put her whole life to learn not to be jealous of her husband for hockey (although the goalkeeper's wife and laughs that she did not understand in hockey). But she learned another way - to make her husband always want to be at home, because there he is waiting for his wife's delight and her words: "You are my best!"

By the way, Dmitri's son Dmitry did not follow in the footsteps of his father - he became a dentist, married, and in October 1996 became the father of Maxim's son. And daughter Vladislav Irina, having graduated from the Institute of International Trade and Law, became a lawyer. In August 2001, she had a daughter, Anya, and in September 2006 another - Masha. That's how Tretyakov became three times grandfather and grandmother.

Now Vladislav Tretyak performs the duties of the president of the hockey federation of Russia, and besides, he is a deputy of the State Duma. As the famous hockey player himself says: "Any victory is achieved not only by talent, but also by great difficulty.
