  • Appearance of scale on working elements. Such a problem usually appears on water-ring pumps, in which the working medium is water. To resuscitate the unit, you need to get rid of the salt deposits with the help of a special formulation.
  • Overheating of the pump and subsequent wear of parts. This problem is especially important for oil-free rotor-plate aggregates. Even the most advanced materials, for example Teflon, are unable to completely compensate for the missing lubricant. Therefore, it is so important to comply with the temperature regime. If there is an overheating, the damaged parts will have to be replaced.
  • Excess or leakage of the working environment. If the water ring pump has reduced its performance, you need to check the service fluid pressure. It could fall because of its leakage. The solution to the problem is the replacement of the seal in the hole.

If the seal is in a satisfactory condition, it means that it is in the flange connections - you need to replace the gaskets.

Also, the intensity of fluid flow can be due to heavy wear of parts. Usually this happens when the pump has already served its own, and it needs to be replaced or checked by the unit, perhaps it is still maintainable, and only the most worn parts are subject to replacement.

At high service medium pressure, because of its excess or overheating, the device can also break. If the optimum values are set, the pump will again work fine. If the temperature regime is met, then you must reduce the flow of water or close the valve on the pressure line.
