How to put the tile on the floor?

Before starting the laying process, it is recommended to prepare the surface in advance. First, remove the old top layer to the base (tile, decayed boards, etc.). After this, with the help of a special solution, you must align all the problem areas. And before you put the tile on the floor, do not forget to spread the waterproofing substrate.

If your previous coverage was wooden, you need to get rid of poor-quality rotten boards, and replace them with new ones. It should be noted that the thickness of the ceiling is not less than 25 mm. After that, the total area of the floor needs to be thoroughly cleaned, then apply a solution (or paint) that protects against fungus and rotting, and after complete drying - cover with waterproofing. After that, at a level of 0.5 centimeter it is recommended to spread the building grid. Then it is necessary to pour the mesh with a special mortar and wait a while (about a month) for the floor to dry well.

The next stage is grouting joints. Very carefully, without missing cracks, use a scraper with a rubber nozzle to apply a special solution. Its excess can be removed with a damp cloth, but only until it dries.

At the end of the work on laying the floor covering, wipe dry the rag with a dry cloth thoroughly, left from the mortar.
