Two-component adhesive (epoxy, polyurethane)

Two-component adhesive is a group of high-quality adhesives, which do not contain solvents. The main components - resins (binders) and hardeners (separately stored, can be in suspension or in powder form).

As a result of the chemical reaction, which starts after mixing these two components, the composition solidifies, obtaining after a few minutes the initial bonding strength. The speed of curing depends largely on the temperature and quality of the pre-stripping. The final strength is collected after a few more hours.

The epoxy bicomponent glue is prepared clearly according to the instructions, in accordance with the proportions and holding time specified therein. When gluing two parts, one can apply an activator to one part, and the other - resin. When connected, the components are contacted as described above.

The main area of application of epoxy glue is non-porous materials (all but synthetic ones) that need to be glued securely. For greater strength, the resin can be reinforced with fiberglass. This method allows you to solve complex problems that arise, for example, when repairing machines. Sometimes a high proportion of metal powder is added to the two-component glue and used as cold welding. The parts thus joined have an increased strength.

Particularly strong and reliable is the two-component polyurethane adhesive used in virtually any area. It perfectly glues leather blanks with a sole, wooden elements (including heavy ones), aluminum, glass, metal structures, natural stone. This two-component adhesive is not afraid of dampness, so it is suitable for construction in rooms with high humidity (for example, in the bathroom, in a bath, etc.). It is ideal for work related to laying tiles (including for laying out drawings and mosaics), for gluing woodwork products, for finishing facades with stone.

Thanks to polyurethane glue, laying the system "warm floors" saves not only time, but also money and strength. Regardless of the type of flooring, after eight hours you can not only walk on it, but also arrange furniture. This glue (unlike analogues) is almost not elastic, and therefore does not shrink and does not stretch. These qualities are preserved even with a very heavy load.

It is reliability that is one of the main selection criteria for shoe factories and small shoe shops. Regardless of the structure of the sole (PVC, porous, etc.), the polyurethane glue shoe grips the surfaces so firmly that it is simply impossible to break them after drying. Such footwear is not afraid of rain, it gives ease, comfort and pleasure.

Two-component adhesives (polyurethane, epoxy) are particularly strong and durable, perfectly fix the details, joints, joints and confidently replace the analogues. They are used in almost all types of work, regardless of the level of complexity. Ceramics, tiles, bricks grasp "to death", which is why those who have used two-component glue, choose it again.
