Trichomonas: symptoms

Disorderly sexual life can bring not only pleasure (doubtful), but also the appearance of various unpleasant diseases, among which one can note the disease "Trichomonas."

In most cases, Trichomonas (or Trichomoniasis) appears with extramarital sex. Statistics show that 7 out of 10 couples become infected with trichomoniasis after the first sexual intercourse. Trichomonas, the symptoms of which differ in men and women, affect the body in different ways, but despite this, the infection can easily spread to the internal genitalia and cause serious complications in the future.

One of the first signs of infection in women is abundant, liquid, foamy leucorrhoea, often with a yellowish tinge and unpleasant odor. In women at a more mature age, after intercourse, the appearance of whites with an admixture of blood, which very often contribute to the development of pain in the lower abdomen and cause itching. The appearance of pain in the lower part of the waist during urination or during intercourse is also characteristic during the period of infection with trichomoniasis. Because of severe itching and burning, superficial ulcers on the labia are not excluded , which, if not cured in time, can spread up to the cervix and promote the appearance of erosion or inflammation. If the disease is started, then Trichomonas, the symptoms of which immediately begin to make itself felt, can usually progress to acute inflammation of the mucosa in the area of the uterine membrane, which eventually breaks the menstrual cycle, exacerbate leucorrhoea and pain during sex. It is imperative to prevent the penetration of trichomonads into the appendages of the uterus, which will lead to severe damage to the fallopian tubes and ovaries, and this, in turn, will cause possible infertility.

There are cases when the trichomonas do not immediately appear. Symptoms can be so insignificant or insignificant that even during pregnancy, after abortion or childbirth, women for a few months do not suspect of infection. Such cases are quite dangerous, since the latent form of trichomoniasis very quickly passes into an acute chronic form.

The first signs of infection in men is the appearance of itching or burning, as well as pain when urinating. Do not exclude and discharge from the urethra, usually transparent or grayish-white. Trichomonas in men, the symptoms and signs of which do not immediately start to bother, in the future can lead to large inconveniences during intercourse or affect the potency. The latent form of trichomoniasis in the male population is also possible, as in women, but unlike the female population, it is easier for men to notice the infection, especially after drinking alcohol or spicy foods that begin to exacerbate pain during urination. It is not uncommon for cases of complicated form of trichomonas, when long-term treatment can become not only unsuccessful, but also lead to a neurologist. Running trichomoniasis will complicate many genitals. The glans penis will begin to turn red, on the member itself, wounds or abrasions will gradually appear, and the foreskin will begin to swell, causing inconvenience at any time. Also, high fever and severe pain in the scrotum and in the testicles are not excluded. A timely call to the doctor will relieve the possible inflammation of the prostate gland, that is, from prostatitis.

Usually, the doctor prescribes traditional treatment, which uses antibiotics and specialized drugs. In addition, any leading venereologist will require an examination of your partner, since Trichomonas, the symptoms and consequences of which can become terrifying, in the future puts the patient at great risk, making him vulnerable to the emergence of other dangerous venereal diseases.
