Treatment of heart diseases: antiarrhythmic drugs

Antiarrhythmic drugs have on their list and such a tool as "Novokainamid." The medication is involved in restoring the normal rhythm of the heart, it has an anesthetic local effect. The drug is used in ventricular, paroxysmal arrhythmias, which pose a threat to life, as well as with deviations of the heart rhythm during recovery of the body after anesthesia.

The drug "Novokainamid" is taken either inside (tablets) or intravenously in cases of paroxysmal tachycardia attacks. Duration of treatment and dose is prescribed by the doctor individually.

Side effects include nausea, vomiting, headache, insomnia, general weakness, bitterness in the mouth. Caution should be applied to the use of drugs for kidney disease.

The "Etmozin" medication is also included in the "Antiarrhythmic drugs" group. The medicine has an effective anesthetic local effect, it allows to remove spasms of the smooth muscles of the heart, dilates the vessels. The agent is used for ventricular arrhythmias that threaten life, as well as for the treatment of ventricular tachyarrhythmias.

The drug "Etmozin" is contraindicated for patients with severe heart rhythm disorders, with abnormalities in the liver and kidneys, in cases of severe hypotension.
