"The science of winning" by Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov

"Science to win" is a book written by AV Suvorov in 1806. Since its writing, many years have passed, for which it was repeatedly republished. Who is Suvorov? What is so remarkable about him among other eminent generals? Suvorov Alexander Vasilyevich is a great Russian military leader, on account of which a huge number of victories and no defeats. He became famous all over the world for his ability to create all the conditions necessary for victory, that is why not only high-ranking officials revered him, but also ordinary soldiers with whom he was able to find a common language and always cared about their situation.

Every officer knows about his achievements, and the personality of the commander has become legendary. It was in honor of Suvorov AV that the highest military order of the USSR was named, and portraits of a person known to the whole world hang in any military school.

Suvorov in his work tells not only about military tactics, he seeks to raise morale and educate everyone who gets his hands on his work, the feeling of love for his homeland, his desire to protect him. The work was written by Suvorov in the period from 1764 to 1765, when he was commander.

According to the author, the advice given to them in the work was an instruction that contained the main and most important rules and regulations that had to be adhered to. It is generally accepted that this was not the result of the entire military career of the eminent commander, but some generalization of the military operations under his leadership, held in Prussia, during which he managed to prove that his glory is not groundless.

Ironically, the modern name of Suvorov's work does not belong to the famous commander. In fact, the author called his book "Suzdal institution", but there is a version that she was called "Regimental Institution". The author of the very expression "Science to win" was the first publisher of this work in military affairs.

Eye sight, speed, onset

The book "The Science of Victory", like any other work intended to inspire and inspire feats, is based on several principles. Among them, the "eye, speed, impact" stand out. Suvorov believed that these were the main components of victory. The general came to this opinion thanks to his own experience and tried to teach them how to use them to achieve victory.
