And although he has no proof, he sends to Moscow and tells about everything to Maria Tatarinova. On the same day, Katya's mother commits suicide. From now on, Sanya is the sworn enemy of Nikolai Antonovich.

War

In 1940, Grigoriev left for Leningrad and entered the flight school. He dreams of equipping the expedition and going along the route of Captain Tatarinov. He does not succeed. And soon the war begins. Sanya becomes a pilot. Once it beats a German raider. Grigoryev jumps with a parachute and finds a tent, which many years ago broke Tatarinov. In it - the ice-covered body and documents.

In the final scene of the painting Grigoriev gives a talk on the expedition of Tatarinov. Justice triumphed. The guilt of Nikolai Antonovich is proved.
