The drug "Tziprolet". Instructions for use

The drug "Tziprolet" refers to drugs aimed at eliminating bacteria. It belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones.

In pharmacies, you can find three forms of the drug:

  • Coated tablets;
  • eye drops;
  • Solution for intravenous administration.

The components of the "Tziprolet" tablets are described in the instruction manual as follows:

  • Ciprofloxacin (the main active substance). Its content is 250 or 200 mg, depending on the form of release;

Additional Ingredients:

  • corn starch;
  • Croscarmellose sodium;
  • Microcrystalline cellulose ;
  • Magnesium stearate ;
  • talc;
  • Colloidal silicon;
  • Acid is sorbic;
  • Hypromellose;
  • titanium dioxide;
  • Polysorbate 80;
  • Dimethicone;
  • Macrogol 6000.

Form: cardboard bundle with a blister containing 10 tablets.

The solution contains 200 mg of the main active substance. Also contains additional substances:

  • Lactic acid ;
  • Sodium chloride ;
  • Edetate disodium;
  • Monohydrate of citric acid;
  • Hydrochloric acid;
  • sodium hydroxide;
  • Special purified water.

The drug "Ciprolet" in the form of a solution is available in 100 ml vials packed in a cardboard box.

Eye drops contain 3.49 mg of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, in addition, it contains:

  • sodium chloride;
  • Edetate disodium;
  • 50% benzalkonium chloride solution;
  • Hydrochloric acid;
  • Special purified water.

Among the indications for the use of the drug "Tziprolet" instructions for use calls infectious diseases of various origins, including:

  • Infection of the respiratory tract. Especially effective will be the use in pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema; Infectious pleurisy.
  • Disorders of the genitourinary system. Pyelonephritis (both acute and chronic form), epididymitis, cystitis, prostatitis.
  • Venereal infections. Gonorrhea (including rectal), diseases caused by gonococcal invasions.
  • Diseases of the eye and its appendages.
  • Some other diseases.

There are also a number of contraindications with which the instruction for use recommends that you read the following before taking Ciprolet:

  • High sensitivity to its components;
  • Pregnancy and the period of breastfeeding;
  • Age to 18 years.

Special contraindications are tablets and solution for intravenous administration:

  • When cerebral circulation is impaired, it is highly advisable not to take the drug without a medical prescription;
  • For mental illnesses, including epilepsy, also do not start taking the drug yourself.
  • The same applies to severe renal and hepatic insufficiency.

With regard to dosage with the use of the drug "Tziprolet", the abstract provides very extensive information, so it is necessary to consult a physician on this issue.

It is also very important to get acquainted with possible side effects from taking the medicine "Tziprolet". If the prescribed dosage is not adhered to, there is a possibility of encountering:

The drug can reduce the ability to concentrate, so it is not recommended to drive or use another vehicle when taking Ziprolet.
