In the process of installation, the upper pairs of rafter legs are first fixed, after which the parallelism of their faces is verified. If, however, the outlet of the chimney or the attic window gets to the place where the rafters are assembled, then in such cases a section of the chimney can be cut, provided the transverse braces are installed from the bar of the same section.
