The route "Perm-Kirov". From "Salty ears" to Dymkovo toys

This trip through the middle lane of Russia begins in Perm, the city where the popular TV series "Real Boys" was filmed. And the end point of the route will be impassable Kirov forests. I must say that even in the province there is something to see. And you can see for yourself.

The route "Kirov-Perm"

What is the way to go? Distance from Kirov to Perm by our Russian standards is considered small - only 388 kilometers. It is recommended to start the tourist route with Perm. It does not matter which transport you choose: car, train or bus. In any case, through the window it will be possible to consider the beautiful nature of the central strip of Russia. True, it does not differ in variety. Here, basically, you can see a mixed forest. But a Russian person will find something beautiful at this moment.

Composing its route from the Perm region to the Kirov region, it is possible to diversify it and continue to the regions of central Russia (Nizhny Novgorod, Kostroma and others). There, of course, there are also memorable places.

Perm walks

The climate in these regions is very similar, therefore, for tourist purposes, it is not worth taking with you many things to replace, it will be enough to dress "by season". Winters here are quite cold, in summer it can be hot, but the weather is very deceptive, so one warm jacket should be seized.

Despite the fact that according to one metropolitan journalist Perm was named one of the "terrible" cities in Russia, in which there is nothing to see, a curious tourist will find entertainment for himself on the Permian expanses.

"Salty Ears"

Do you know what is the main attraction of Perm? This is a sculpture frame "Salty Ears". It consists of a metal frame into which a person substitutes his face for photography. A little further away is the sculpture of the photographer. What is it for? This monument hints at the fact that it is necessary to take a picture. As for architectural structures, Perm has a lot of churches and temples, which in beauty and elegance can equal the architectural heritage of St. Petersburg.

One of the symbols of the Urals is considered to be the object of the newfangled art trend. It is a question of the Perm gate or a monument to the letter "P". The monument was created six years ago. It still causes dissonance in Perm society, not accustomed to new, revolutionary trends in contemporary art.

And in this city there was a natural oasis in the center of the city - Gorky Park. There, every tourist can relax in the shade of spreading trees, visit a cafe and ride a few attractions.

The city also boasts museums. Some of them are dedicated to the Stalin era. One of the most visited is the museum of the history of political repression "Perm-36". Earlier on the site of this building there was a camp for dissidents. Then, with a view to perpetuating historical memory, a realistic museum was founded. It presents expositions that convey the entire drama of a bygone era.

The museum of Soviet naive is another interesting place. There is represented the unpretentious creativity of the Soviet era. For many people, this line of art may seem completely new. And all because historians have recently begun to study it.

Road from Perm to Kirov

How much time do you need to go? The road from Perm to Kirov takes about 6-7 hours. To pass this time in the train or bus, it is best to stock up on music, food, an interesting book. You can safely go on the road. There is an option - to buy a ticket for the bus "Perm-Kirov". But still it is recommended to travel by train. After all, the feedback on the highway is quite unflattering: in some places the road is completely unrepaired, which, undoubtedly, will complicate the movement. A train ticket can be purchased without much difficulty. After all, passenger train trains in the direction of Kirov go often. The price of the ticket will be affordable for every tourist. Landscapes of harsh nature, encountered on the way to the lost in the forests of Kirov, will not leave indifferent any lover of travel in Russia.

Vyatka welcomes guests

Do you know the second name of Kirov? This is Vyatka. The city is very hospitable. Although there is a popular opinion that the kirov people are wild, woody, unsmiling people, but if you ask them - they will certainly help.

The architecture of the city refers mainly to the Soviet period, the spirit of that time still seems to be hovering here. But it's worth going to the historic part of the city, as soon as the journey begins in the provincial era. Small houses with unpretentious terrains, tiled with the only pedestrian street Spasskaya, which is considered the main attraction of the city, lovely sculptures in the style of Dymkovo toys - all this brings tourists to the XIX century. Then on these streets it was possible to meet exiled writers - Saltykov-Shchedrin and Herzen.

The city of Kirov, according to legend, stands on seven hills. A tourist, when taking a walk, will definitely notice this. I'll have to stock up on comfortable shoes to constantly overcome hilly obstacles. In Kirov, as in Perm, there is a monument with ears - more precisely, with one ear. This eared tree on the Theater Square, in which people whisper their desires. They say that desires do come true.

The city has recently been developed new museums - ice cream and chocolate history. In both institutions you can visit, both on excursions and on tasting (for a fee try to eat a few exhibits).

The most romantic place in Kirov is the embankment of Green. It is a two-level street with a park, located along the banks of Vyatka. It starts from the eternal flame and ends at the Old Bridge. On the upper embankment there is a classic tree for lovers, where people hang locks of fidelity, the lower embankment is equipped with lanterns.

A Russian tourist who complains that due to a lack of finance can not go abroad, one should always remember that in your country you can see no less beautiful places and get a lot of impressions.
