Bloody horror films mostly belong to the sub-genre splatter, in them the creators deliberately focus on an extremely naturalistic demonstration of blood.

The progenitor of this sub-genre of cinematography is Gershel Gordon Lewis. His "Bloody Feast" (1963) is a real scandalous legend of horror film. The horror film with the IMDb rating: 5.00 was officially recognized by the world's film critics as the first ever gore film.

The film "Bloody Sport" (IMDb: 6.80) directed by Newt Arnold, despite its name, is hardly a bloody film project - it's a sports action film. The plot of the tape is quite simple and is based on individual facts from the biography of Frank Duks. The drama of the tape looks perfect in its own way, although the main part of the story is crammed full of fights. Impressive and trowels used shooting in rapid speeds, correctly selected angles, brisk installation, including "cross". The director Andrei Konsta and screenwriter Matthew Jacobs did their best to convey the horrific and bloody story of the killer countess, but the gloomy atmosphere in their film is supported only by the incessant, sinister music.
