The basic rules of filling the work book

The main document that displays the activity of a person in any production is the work record book. It shows the qualifications of the employee, the organization where he worked, career growth and attitude to his duties. In addition, it is the main source from which information about the work experience of workers is taken.

There are certain rules for filling the work record card, which must be adhered to by the employer or the person charged with this duty. The order of registration is regulated by a regulatory act, which was approved by the Government of the Russian Federation. This document is given if the employee is working for more than five days on the spot, which is considered his main place of work. Exceptions are those employers who are not registered as legal entities.

If a person has the first job, the rules for filling labor books require that data be entered into this document not later than a week from the moment when he took up his duties, and this is done in his presence. On the first page biographical data are written: name, surname, date of birth (information is taken from the presented passport), position, qualification (on the basis of the document on education).

Abbreviations or corrections to the rule of filling the workbook are not allowed. They include information about the work performed by the employee, his transfer to another position, about incentives and rewards, and about dismissal. In the latter case, the basis is indicated, because of which the labor contract was terminated. Disciplinary sanctions or reprimands in this document are not written, except when it led to dismissal. If the employee wishes, the book can include information about his work in combination. However, this is done by the main employer on the basis of the provided certificate, which confirms the additional activities.

All entries must have a sequence number in the corresponding section. The sample of filling labor books recommends dates to write in Arabic numerals, a year - in full, and the number and month in a two-digit format. The handle is taken with a paste of blue, black or purple. Do not use gel pastes, as they quickly burn out. The handwriting to be recorded should be neat and legible.

If the position for which the worker is arranged does not provide for certain knowledge or skills, his profession can be written without requiring the relevant documents. With any record that is here, its owner must be previously acquainted with the signature.

The rules of filling the workbook are recommended to write about the reason for the termination of the employment contract with accuracy as it is formulated in the Labor Code or other normative act. They also include data on military service, the passage of studies in advanced training or retraining courses with reference to the relevant documents. They indicate in the document and incentives for merits received during the work, namely the appropriation of state awards, certificates of honor or something else that is provided for by the collective agreement or the charter of the organization, or by legislative acts.

If the pages of one of the sections are over, the rules of filling the workbook are advised to sew a liner of the established pattern here. It is filled and maintained in the same way as the main document. This moment is marked with a stamp. A separate insert is considered invalid.

The employee receives the labor book on his hands on the day of his dismissal. At the same time, all entries made in the document must be certified by the employer, the seal of the company, the signature of the employee himself.
