Childhood and youth

Temrezov Rashid was born on March 14, 1976 in a family that knew all the hardships of deportation. Grandmothers and grandfathers Rashid along with the other 75 thousand Karachais were in 1943 forcibly relocated from their native republic to the naked steppes of Central Asia. His parents were born in Kyrgyzstan, and in Cherkessk they returned only in 1957.

The political activity of the future head of the KCR started in 2007, when Temrezov Rashid joined the party "Fair Russia" and even headed its regional branch. However, soon he was dismissed from his duties after a loud scandal and an investigation, during which Temrezov was accused of corruption.
