Dosage is established depending on the symptoms and the tolerability of the drug individually.

Patients from one to six years of age, the dose of the drug is calculated in accordance with the body weight (five milligrams per kilogram). Three appointments are prescribed throughout the day.

Patients from seven years to fourteen daily dosage of two to four milligrams per kilogram of body weight. Recommended three times a day.

Side effects may be vomiting, nausea, a feeling of discomfort in the abdominal area, anaphylactic shock, itching, dyspnoea, maculopapular rashes, erythema.

Contraindications to the appointment and reception of tablets "Midokalm" are:

- age to a year;

- Myasthenia gravis;

- hypersensitivity (intolerance) to the drug.

The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is allowed in cases where the potential risk to the child is lower than the intended benefit to the mother.

For children, recommended to receive "Midokalm" in tableted form 50 milligrams.

The use of the drug does not affect the ability to control the mechanisms and driving of vehicles, the concentration of attention and the manifestation of the speed of the psychomotor reaction.

There is no evidence of an overdose of the drug.
