Summary: "Belogrudok" (Astafiev VP)

In this article we will talk about one of the most famous works of Viktor Petrovich Astafiev, in particular, we will consider its brief content. "Belogrudok" is a small story dedicated to nature and animals, which entered the modern school curriculum.

About the work

The story was written in 1961, when the writer studied in Moscow on literary courses. The author, himself a native of the Siberian village, from childhood knew and loved Russian nature. It is not surprising that this was reflected in his work. The writer's knowledge of the habits of animals and the characteristics of their behavior can illustrate even a brief summary. "Belogrudok" is a vivid example of this. In addition, the work is autobiographical - Astafyev described the case, which he witnessed as a child himself.

Despite its brevity, the story has a pronounced didactic orientation and raises rather serious questions related to the attitude of man to nature.

Astafyev, "Belogrudok": a brief summary

On the mountain there is a large village of Vereino, and under the mountain there are 2 lakes, on the banks of which hides a small village of Zuyata.

Between Vereino and Zuyatami there is a large slope, similar to a humpbacked island, which can be seen for many miles. None of the local people there almost does not go, because it is overgrown with thick grass so that you do not suneeshsya. Only a little move away from the field of clover, that on the mountain, so immediately roll down and find yourself in a windmill, overgrown with raspberries, elderberries and moss.

As it is not difficult to notice, begins with a description of the terrain of the summary. "Belogrudka" abounds in colorful descriptions of Siberian nature, despite the small size of the story.

The gloomy place was sloping, dusky and moist. Fir and spruce trees reliably stored from their human hands their residents - squirrels, birds, ermines, badgers. There were even cautious and cunning wood-grouses.

But somehow once decided to settle in the wilds of the slope white-breasted marten, a very secretive by nature beast. Sometimes she was seen on the edge, but only after sensing the person, she again flew into the thicket. So she lived 3 years.

Kunyata

A great knowledge of the habits and characteristics of animals in his descriptions is shown by VP Astafyev ("Belogrudok"). A brief summary tells how in one summer the tiny cubs appeared in the marten. Belogrudok took care of them, licked them, warmed them on cold nights, and when they grew a little, began to get food for them. Kunitsa studied the slope well, so she brought a lot of booty, and there was always plenty of food for the children.

One day, the village boys tracked Belogrudok. They descended behind it along the slope and hid. Marten, confusing her tracks, walked for a long time in the forest, jumping from tree to tree, and then decided that people had left, because they often passed by. Then Belogrudok returned to her nest.

But the boys did not go away and closely followed her. The marten did not smell their presence - she was completely absorbed in caring for the children. Checking whether everything is OK with them, she again went on a hunt. However, every day it became increasingly difficult to obtain food. The nest is no longer a small beast, so Belogrudok went to the forest, then to the swamps, the lake. Here she was lucky to stumble upon a jay. Joyful, she ran back to the nest with prey.

The ruined nest

Quite a lot of lyrical and tragic moments in the story "Belogrudok". A brief summary, for example, describes the return of the marten to the nest, which turned out to be empty. Belogrudok immediately dropped the prey and began to rush about the tree, in the clutches of which her nest was cunningly hidden. But kunyat was nowhere to be found. The author describes the tragedy experienced by the mother: "If she could scream, she would scream." Her kunyat disappeared.

Then Belogrudka decided to explore everything around. There were also human traces. People stomped around the tree, and one of them climbed on it, ripping off the bark and the bough. In the evening, the marten already knew that her kunyat had been taken to the village. And at night she found out which house.

Until the dawn, Belogrudok rushed around the house, sat on the bird cherry, listening - suddenly the kunyata would sing. But the dog in the yard of the house rattled the chain and barked loudly. The master several times tried to calm her down, but did not help.

From that moment martin came into the yard every night. And every night the dog barked and thundered.

Revenge

The summary of the story "Belogrudok" shows how deep feelings can be experienced by animals. Once the marten managed to get into the hayloft, where she stayed until the morning and decided to stay for a day. And this time she managed to see kunyat. The master boy carried the little ones to the porch in the old hat. Here he began to play with them, turn over on his back, click on the nose. Then other boys came. Kunyat began to feed with meat.

The master came and said, pointing to the kids that there was nothing to torture the animals, it was better to bring them back to the nest, otherwise they would completely disappear.

But here came the terrible day for Belogrudok. This time, she again managed to get through and hide. The boy again took her kunyat on the porch. But, peering into the cap, he found out that one of them had died. Then he took a dead cub and threw it to the dog. The old dog, accustomed to eating everything that was given to him, sniffed a small body and began "to devour him from the head."

The same night a huge number of chickens and chickens were smothered across the village. And the old dog, who had eaten the cunnick, hanged himself, hanging on a chain, when he tried to jump over the fence. Gusat and ducklings began to find in the streets and in the gardens. In houses that were close to the forest, the bird was completely outnumbered.

For a long time they could not understand in the village what was the matter, but Belogrudok began to go out hunting even during the day, and she was noticed.

Death kunyat

We continue to retell the summary. Belogrudok once again appeared in the village once a day. This time it was already waiting for, and shot down from the tree. But the marten survived - only a few pellets hit it. She flushed through the wound and went back to the village.

Kunitsa did not know that during this time the boy that took her kunyat was flogged and forced to take the cubs back. But the lazy boy threw the kids at the forest. Here they were stumbled upon by a fox and ate.

Belogrudok continued to press the birds now not only in Vereino, but also in neighboring Zuyaty.

But the marten climbed into the cellar, and there she was able to catch the mistress of the house.

Decoupling

The marten was placed in a box. The owner of the house returned, the hunter. He said that the wife caught the marten in vain, because the people first offended her, and released the beast. But Belogrudok did not stop and continued to exhaust the bird. Then the hunter had to track her down and kill her.

Long in both villages remembered about Belogrudok. And to this day forbid children to touch other people's nests and ruin them.

So the story "Belogrudok" came to an end. Summary for the readers' diary can be supplemented with quotes from the work.
