Student's Day and Student's Day

Holidays always bring joy, they are waited a long time, prepared in advance. And when young blood flows in veins, then all the celebrations turn, as a rule, into incredible and unforgettable events. Studentism at all times was considered the most fun, so-called, golden at times. And the holiday - Student's Day - dedicated to this beautiful period has always been and will be the most beloved and expected for students in secondary and higher educational institutions.

Student's day is also unique, because it can be celebrated not just one, like all other holidays, but twice a year: January 25 and November 17. The first date is also known as Tatiana's Day or the Day of Russian Students. On this day in 1755, the Empress Elizabeth signed a decree, thanks to which the Moscow University (present Moscow State University) was opened. Since then, this date was celebrated, first as a day of veneration of Tatiana of Rome (thanks to which, in fact, all of the above happened), and later - as the birthday of the university and, accordingly, the Student's Day. November 17 is considered a more extensive event, or rather this date is known as the international student day. Its origin is associated with not the most pleasant incidents. In 1939, several Prague students with their teachers decided to hold a demonstration in honor of the anniversary of the formation of the state. As a result, Nazis, who occupied the country at that time, were shot dead by one of the students, after which the rest held a protest. It ended with the arrest of many young people, and the most active were executed. A couple of years later, a meeting was held in London devoted to the struggle against Nazism, at which it was decided to celebrate the Student's Day in honor of the dead.

Currently, both January 25 and November 17, it is customary to have fun and accept congratulations on the Day of the Student. It is interesting that, in addition to the international holiday, modern students do not refuse to mark dates dedicated to students, which concern certain states or even specific educational institutions, for example, such as Harvard.

The largest event dedicated to students is the International Student Festival, which traditionally takes place in the Norwegian city of Trondheim. This, a kind of conference, gathers every two years more than 400 students from around the world. The festival has now become quite a serious event, encompassing many global topics, mainly related to socio-political issues of international importance. Since 1990, about 350 Norwegian students have volunteered to organize the event, following the correct implementation of every detail. Students attending the festival take an active part in discussions, listen to lectures and seminars, exchange their thoughts and important ideas. Within the framework of the event, an extensive concert program is held, including interesting art exhibitions.

Student holidays in our country have not yet reached such a high level and do not attract so many participants, but, nevertheless, students often make noisy parties. To diversify the conduct of fun, you can come up with a script for the student's day, give out the most active roles and speak in front of fellow students. Such a celebration will be remembered for all for many years and with a high probability it can become a tradition in every collective. Very often students want to make the celebration their most memorable, they all want their party to be discussed for a long time and those who did not attend it regretted it. Undoubtedly, most young people have a wonderful imagination and can come up with excellent scenarios themselves. But if there is no such opportunity for some reason, professional agencies that specialize in holding events can come to the rescue.
