History of NWA

Grouping NWA was created in the late 80's, and contributed to this American rapper , nicknamed Eazy-E. Living in a suburb of Los Angeles - Compton - and having accumulated a fairly large amount of money, he decides to found a rap group, inviting four more guys from his district (Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Dj Yella and MC Ren). However, at first the efforts of the guys were not successful. The group was ignored by all radio stations and clubs for too extremist texts with a lot of profanity. And with their hit Fuck the police, they were able to attract the attention of the feds.

It is fair to note that the group in its work does not call anyone to violence. They just sing about life in their neighborhood, where not a day goes by without murder, drugs, violence and police arbitrariness. And by 1989 the group had achieved great popularity.

About the fact that the NWA did not last long, it became known when the team left Ice Cube in 1990. The reason for this was a quarrel with the producer and participant of the project - Eazy-E. It seemed to him that he received less than he deserved.

It tells how five unknown guys - Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, MC Ren and Dj Yella - revolutionized rap. The guys lived in one of the most dangerous cities in the US - Compton, where the crime rate is so high that it's scary to go out on the street once more.

But they have a dream - world fame and fame, and to them they move, despite the obstacles. Inspired by the creativity of many hip-hop projects of the time, the guys write lyrics and soon release the first song. Their unexpected success is noticed by the "muddy" producer Jerry Heller. The NWA team is releasing their first album, which is becoming a big step towards their cherished dream. They eventually achieve popularity, but who would know what tests they had to go through for this!

Shooting

Initially, to shoot the film "Straight from Compton" (the actors were not recruited yet) New Line Cinema studio was going to, but later it turned out that it already belongs to another company - Warner Bros, which could withdraw, but allocated less money than the creators intended to spend Paintings.
